Dip... dip...
The blood continuously trickled down her finger tips on to the wet bathroom floor. The white tiles were stained with numerous splotches of blood. She bit her lips closing her eyes and leaning on to the mirror. She wanted to wash away the wound, stop the agony but she restrained herself. This was her punishment. No. The excruciating pain from the physical wound was the only thing numbing the inner agony. The metallic taste of blood filled her mouth. Her lip was bleeding.
The bathroom door burst open. She looked up in vague acknowledgement of her surroundings. He stood at the door completely broken by the sight in front of him. Her eyes met his and everything melted away. His eyes conveyed the raw anguish of his heart. Her lips curled up slightly at the corner. He cannot see her in pain not even if his whole being beats with the fury on her. In the tenth of a second he was by her side, her hand cradled in between his hands. The tears made their way down her cheeks as she saw him pick out the shards of glass from her wounds. The wounds looked brutal, the glass shards were deep into the wounds and the blood refused to stop. Then he looked up and saw the tears and he broke
"What were you thinking? Are you crazy? Do you hate me to the extent that you would inflict pain upon yourself for me just so that you can hurt me? Why do you do this to me Thapki? Why can't you leave me alone? Why do you give me so much pain? Why?" His outburst shocked her. Yes, she had suffered this for him. She couldn't help herself when she saw him walk barefooted towards the broken glass pieces. Not a second was spent before she placed her hand on the glass pieces before he stepped on them. But it was because she couldn't see him in anymore pain. Not after the pain she has been giving him, her betrayal inflicted upon him. Her mind went back to the day she broke his heart, the look on his face when she came into the room to confess her love.
"I want divorce from you..I cannot bear you...not one more moment..I cannot stand you."
His words were etched into her memory. Burning her every day and every night. She had refused to step away from his life and he, he refused to be in her vicinity. Days passed without a single word from him, he was too angry too hurt; he did not want to be with her, anything to do with her. He had given his heart to her and she, she had in a moment absolute senselessness decided that the truth of the marriage costed more than his precious heart. And by the time she realized the damage was done, by the time she was irrevocably in love with him, he was no more hers. She looked on as he held her hand in a tight grip, almost bruising her and roughly dragged her out of the bathroom. He pushed her into the bed and took out the first aid box. Thapki shook her head as he tried to bandage.
"No ...Bbbihan...I don't want to- " Thapki began in a whisper but was cut off.
"Shut the hell up." The dangerous edge to his voice scared her. She knew Bihan couldn't hurt her, at least not physically but the sheer animosity which laced his voice made her sit still. He bandaged her with shaking hands. The rage was back. Doubled by Thapki's actions. What she did for him revived memories, how he himself did the same for another person, his so called mother, the mother who had asked for divorce to Thapki as the price for giving him blood, the mother who had no remorse for almost killing Thapki, the mother who was blind to his unconditional love for her. Unconditional love. He went blank for a moment as the weight of Thapki's action came upon him. No he cannot go there anymore. The woman who was sitting in front of him was just as much a betrayer as the woman who was supposed to be his mother. Both of them had duped him, took him for granted, played a dangerous game with his heart. This woman cannot love him. She simply cannot. He got up abruptly trying to control his emotions and turned to leave.
"Bbbihan...please listen to me " Thapki got up after him. Her words undid him, in a swift movement he pinned her to the cupboard.
"Why? Why should I listen to you? Listen...There used to be a time when your every word mattered to me ...I was your culprit...but not anymore...you have had your revenge...the scores are settled but why are you still here? Why Thapki? You have done your best...You managed to make me fall for you." He chuckled and Thapki cried harder."Then you managed to break my heart...Do you know what's the worst part...I know, I know that you have wronged me yet you haven't...You just gave me what I deserved, my punishment and I would never be able to hate you...because I was the one who was wrong...You would be the only one who will reside in my heart...you." He slammed her to the cupboard and stepped away clenching his fists. The tears made their way down his cheeks.
"You had your way Thapki, now please leave me alone... I beg of you. I am the idiot, who thought you would ever be able to be my wife, who thought you would fall in love with me. I am the idiot who believed you for your false words-
"STOP IT BBBIHAN- Bihan stood stunned by her voice. She came forward and grabbed Bihan by his jacket. Bihan winced as she folded her bandaged hand. Thapki had enough of whatever was between them. She has suffered the penalty for her crime and he is also punished.
"What do you think of yourself Bihan? Wwhat is my crime Bihan? Was it my fault that you lied about our marriage to me? Is it not my right to know my culprit? Yes I broke your heart in the process but I have been dying every day Bihan. I have b-b-been suffering without you. Now I had enough. Is it too hard for you to understand why am I staying in this house which has offered me nothing but pain? Are you too blind in your anger not to realize? Or are you cho-ch-choosing not to? Why are you inflicting pain on yourself?" Her voice lowered into a whisper. "Yes I came back to this house to seek justice, I wanted to know Bbbihan. But then you...you had to be so sweet...and without even wanting to, I fell ...I fell for you, you thick headed i-i-idiot. Yes nothing is right! The truth of marriage has created a mess bbbut you ...you are creating a bigger mess. Why ccan't you open your eyes and see the obvious? What purpose does it serve if you chose to stay angry with mmme- "
Her words drowned as she felt his lips on hers. Bihan poured all of his heart into the one kiss. His rage, the anger, the pain of her betrayal, the longing of his soul, and the unending love and she responded with the same amount of passion driven by the fear of losing him. All the worries melted into the kiss. The kiss was violent, full of need yet sweetly endearing. And when they finally broke off everything that happened to them seemed insignificant because the only thing mattered was each other. Bihan gently caressed her face with his hands and took her into his arms. Their eyes closed in contentment as they stood in the tight embrace. An unspoken promise of eternal togetherness was made. The dark clouds finally cleared making way to the clear blue sky.
PS- I know clichedđ ...and I had said that I wouldnt write angry Bihan but had to change my mind because of cvs, so heartless ThapkiđĄ. Waise I was doing a lot of Bakwas in the forum while writing this đ and I am too lazy to proof read so plz dont mind those mistakesđ
PPS - this Thapki and Bihan can only exist in our canon ..the original ones are too dehati to have this kinda stuff and I am speaking for all of my worksđ..Plz dont wish for them to be the same in rthe show
