Hello all
I used to watch KB when Bulbul was alive and mainly for RaBul and PURAB, after bulbul's death I watched for a few more weeks and once I realized that Purab has nothing to do in the show and he is merely there for the sake of it then I gave up watching the show and now at times just go through the written updates.
I am so disappointed with the way the CVs have handled Purab's character. He was supposed to be the parallel lead but he never got any substantial story line or screen space.
I can't believe how rushed and poorly executed Bulbul's death was...After the death I was expecting the CVs to shift focus on Purab and show how he is all messed up and devastated and in shock due to Bulbul's death as it had been shown in the show how much Purab was in love with Bulbul that he was going to cut his wrist and end his life just because Bulbul was not going to marry him.
I wanted Purab to be in the limelight and get some great scenes where he is devastated and i state of shock due to the girls' death who was his life and Abhi trying to console and take care of him
But rather what we got was a devastated Pragya and her mom and what was even more disappointing was that Purab was absolutely ok and once again no importance was given to the so called parallel lead
Now the situation is even worse, apparently Rony is the new parallel lead who gets more importance in terms of storyline and screen presence than Purab.
Rony tried to kill Tanu and then Tanu tried to murder him and now he is scaring her by pretending to be a ghost while Purab again gets nothing but just stands like a cardboard cut out
For God's sake if Rony can get this much importance then why can't Purab !
I fail to understand what is Purab exactly doing in the show !
Why can't he get a storyline of his own or at least get some important stuff to do...Can't the Cvs show his life being in danger for once and Abh-Pragya trying to save him or him being the one to expose Tanu or him risking his own life to save Abhigya or something like that where he gets to be the focus. Purab (Arjit) deserves more screen presence and a track.
Sorry for the rant but I got so frustrated by the dumb CVs that I had to blurt out all my frustration today !
