We need 10,000 more cinema halls in the country: Salman Khan

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has said there is a need for more theatres in the country, especially on the outskirts of cities where people don't get to watch movies because theatres are way too far to travel.

"There are very few cinema halls in India and we can still do another ten thousand plus cinema halls in this country. In the main city, with all the real estate price and other things, I think they will rather make a office. So, whatever cinema theatres has to be built, they will have to be built on the outskirts and that is where they should be built actually" Salman said.

The reason, Salman said, was because small places in the city don't have theatres

"Because lots of small places in the cities they don't have any theatres" the actor added.

India has one of the lowest cinema screens per capita. The United States of America has nearly 6 times more screens, even though India has 4 times more population. China too has significantly higher number screens.

He is right . We have so less theaters in India if we compare to Countries like USA , China .

yes he is right but that time one week is very difficult to run

Some of the crap being produced are these people missing much?

Building Cinema Halls are not a priority.

Schools, hospitals, housing and jobs for people living on outskirts are.



He wants more cinema halls so Bollywood can make more money aswell as himself?

as per avg budgets of movies here...I think theatres are just fine...
it's a luxury nd that can wait

Salman is an Actor , And Bollywood is his Office where he work . If he wants his Work organisation to earn more .. Some peopl are finding Wrong in that as well ? GREAT 😆 . As far as Jobs are concerned More Cinema Halls means People will get job in that as well . As far as Hospitals , Schools etc are concerned .. Indian Govt already doing that work . He didn't say that Hospitals etc should not be made & ONLY Cinema Halls should be made . HEIGHTS OF HATRED 🥱

As someone who is a founder of a charity he does not mention that much anymore. Yes he should be prioritising schools and hospitals like most charities do.

Does it even exist anymore or pop up when his next court date makes the headlines.

sahi main, this year ki budget me se health and education sector ki amount thoda kam karke entertainment sector main dalna chahie tha. kuch bhi nahin pata arun jaitley ko. salman ko finance ministry ka advisor bana do. gdp 8 kya 20 ho jaega.😆
