Shahid Kapoor in Sajid Nadiadwalas Kshanam Remake ?

Contrary to the media reports, it is Shahid Kapoor who is the lead contendor for Sajid Nadiadwala's Kshanam Bollywood Remake and not Salman Khan.

The rights have been bought in Rs. 1.50 crore which is more than the actual budget of the film. The film was made on a budget of 1.1 crores. The film has become a sleeper hit at the box office.

Although there's no confirmation if its original director will direct the film, Shahid Kapoor is definitely on producer Madhu Mantena and Sajid Nadiadwala's mind to play the lead role.

Shahid Kapoor is currently working on Rangoon which is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Directed by Ravikanth Perepu, the film starred Adivi Sesh and Adah Sharma played lead role in the film.

Kshanam is about an NRI from USA who comes to India in search of daughter of his ex-girlfriend.
