Actually, the mom is regressive and sexist. But she doesn't realize it. Perhaps given her background, lack of education herself, it doesn't register on her. If you noticed her reaction when one of her girls wanted to intern or work at her bro's place- her reaction there. Her whole philosophy how girl has no use working or something there. Regressive shit.

Neha has deep psychological issues. She loves her family but she was denied an opportunity to fight for her family or even encouraged. Her lack of abilities with English and her constant struggle to improve on it on her own is awesome. Also her lines on her Mom and her bro.

FL- My problem with her is different. I really really don't want her to turn into a cook and start churning out dishes for her "patient" future MIL. please, not her job.

ML's equation with her mom and her sister is most intriguing. Also his fbs but the lovr story is half-baked , please keep it shut and make Neha , the star!!

I like Neha , so much.šŸ˜†

ma beta concept is not new in this serial but it has some freshness which the characters bring up... and i like the Neha's character where in she wants all those things which she couldn't get in her childhood... her point of view is very correct from her side!

My genie in a bottle how I did miss you *kisses abound*

I was planning on saying something interesting but I saw today's episode and then saw the show that aired after this one and then watched that one show on Star Plus and now I'm like... I can't. My brain is fried from too much Indian Telly. 🤢🄱

@red-

yas
yaaas
yaaas

Bruh. The negative connotations. I've lost the ability to even. She's paid to be a care taker of her future 'saas' so to speak. So even when she's independent the only way the CVs want to show it is by making her...take care of her 'saas'. Like. W.t.f even.

Yes I saw how she didn't want her daughter to work.. I thought it was more like she didn't want her to work for the ML's company because..possesive!maa? Nah? I don't even know man. I thought a shade of the old oedipus complex at play eh? šŸ˜†
The show is a touch too patronizing for me.. it's debatable if I'll continue with it tbh.šŸ˜† Well until then let's have fun at least.šŸ¤—

Hugs and misses you on twitter. Sigh, no fun now!

FL- I have come to realize professions on desi tv are just mere token thing and to be abused and ignored.

Oepius Complex- Yesss!!! I like this show, it's patronizing but I dunno..for now interesting.
Mom is so possessive , she cannot share her son at all.

I am yet to watch the episode , don't watch the show after this one (have issues there) and that is all. I wanna stick around for this one, so that I can win the bet. Sigh. Desi tv is mad

LOLOLOLOL We must chat asap about all the desi shows I'm suddenly watching... but only because there are so many new ones and I strictly believe in the six month rule šŸ˜† Every show is half decent the first six months Na'm'sayin'bruh? šŸ˜†

I watched it. Someone accidentally assumes they are married or some such thing.. my understanding of Hindi is passable at best as you know šŸ˜†

Ok what's this bet? How can I get in? Why isn't box here? I asked bushy to watch this show. Man her comments are going to KILL me. I know it. šŸ˜†
