Today his tears stayed
Unable to slip
He sat in calm
As the saffron robes on him she gently draped
On his wrist the Thulsi beads she gently wound
Her eyes beseeched
As She tied His hair in a knot
His gaze remained stoic
And in Her soul she felt a painful twist.
He looked down at the drops of tears
As They merged with the Thulsi beads
That she had sorrowfully bound.
He walked away...
I go forth alone seetay..
To mother's wishes I alone am duty bound
