Why did the younger Shravan write a love letter to Sumo? (We dont know if she had read the letter and that is beside the point... at this juncture) Means yesterday's episode revealed that Shravan was hurt at several levels and at several occasions by the bullying, indifferent attitude of Sumo... and instead of stopping her and even forsaking this friendship, he wanted to take it to another level?😕

I guess he was enamoured of Sumo but in yesterday's episode, he brought in several past incidents of hurt and humiliation packed into one, and gave a smashing blow to Sumo to remember how he felt over all those incidents, yet he goes ahead and wrote a love letter? He was even willing to forsake his education for her... am I to believe that he has selectively remembered only the bitter moments in his heart and actually forgotten her goodness of heart. Those simple joyous moments they spend together which made him realize that she was a gem of a person and wanting to be her companion for life.

I guess its time few of their childhood interactions are shown pronto...

Teenage Shravan was in love. And thus that love letter. But adult Shravan isn't swayed by the fancy of love anymore, because Suman broke those innocent feelings.

Teenage Shravan & adult Shravan are the same at their core, with the low self-esteem. But what has changed is that adult Shravan thinks with his brains & no longer his heart. With the good looks came an inflated sense of ego for adult Shravan. He hates the young Shravan that was rejected & thus has become everything teenage Suman wanted in a man - a stud. He changed for her, & because of her.

The humiliation & pain of the past tainted those good memories, to a large extent. Yes he hasn't forgotten the good memories but the bad memories are currently overpowering the good. The rejection still stings him, thus his question to her that why didn't she contact him all these years. Suddenly, he returns & she is the one running after him, like he used to run after her in his past. And that stung him further because it confirmed his belief that her friendship was superficial. And that now she's just interested in his money, status & what not. With her not giving him a chance to explain & misunderstanding him, calling him a bhagoda, his ego was really hurt. And he wants to show her & the world that he's no longer that geek who everyone can insult & just take for granted. So smart lawyer thinks that an eye for an eye will help him overcome the pain in his heart & allow him to move on. Little does he know that now Suman will truly move on & he will be left all alone, like the past. Note the precap, all's said & done but yet he comes bugging her. And Suman is giving him the silent treatment. I sense tough times ahead for Shravan as he won't be able to move on.

I don't think he's forgotten their sweet memories once he remembered writing the letter and he knows that Suman didn't read he didn't get angry he smiled and I think after that letter fiasco he was more hurted that sumo thinking he was not good enough of her. He realized that if he was not good enough for her friendship then how can he good enough for her life partner. It's not that she refused his feelings more like the reason she was giving because he was geeky nerd and padaku doesn't that means he didn't deserve a true friendship. And I think the bad memories over shadowed the good memories.

@prc_fan1 Bang on... this would be the future course of the story.

But, I still feel, Sumo did say something to him and that rankled him further. I do not see any other reason for him to stand there watch Sumo being attacked by the goons.

Shravan is digging his own grave... poor chap.

I agree with @prc, that both young and adult Shravan suffer from low-esteem, but my question is simple.. Everyday during their teenage years, the young Shravan used to be a little hurt, upset and infuriated with Sumo's callousness towards his feelings. But, he still goes ahead and writes a letter. So, there's definitely more to their interactions during their younger phase than Sumo simply walking all over him.

And one incident does stand out. Remember, younger Sumo cooking food for younger Shravan, so that he may do her homework (he even says achcha khana banna chahiye tabhi copy milegi). So, it was not as if Sumo was the bullying one, younger Shravan could also get back to her whenever he wanted to. So, if he did accept her indifferent attitude on several occasions, it was only because parallel to these painful incidents, there was a wonderfully healthy, beautiful relationship between the two.

And since in yesterday's episode, adult Shravan neglected those wonderful moments between the two, there has to be something more than what he said about him being nerdy and so on. I believe it has to be the love letter incident which triggered only negative feelings within Shravan towards Sumo and this incident went horribly wrong (which I believe Sumo is still unaware of) and because of which not only something snapped within him but more importantly, the last ten years he has re-interpreted the relationship between them as between unequals. No wonder he stressed on the fact that this present version of Suman is no match for the rich, successful lawyer.

I read someone's post some time back... about how Sumo is so subservient at home but treats the hero like trash. Sadly, the same would apply for Shravan. He lets his family treat him bad... but not Sumo.

He knew the rules of the game with Sumo.. if anything, she was brutally clear about her image and how they would pretend to be strangers in public. Lets forget about the public humiliation... but Shravan did fall in love with this image conscious girl Sumo. Agreed, there is more untold story... but Shravan had no complaints about Sumo till that point. Shravan did not say anything new today, just the same old story that we have seen till now. So he is partly to blame for his disappointment... Cause our happiness is purely in our hands, if Sumo hurt him he should have cut himself emotionally from her... which sadly he never did. And he holding this grudge 10 years since is not a good thing... cause he still believes his happiness is not in his grasp... and he still has not taken charge of his life!

Wonder, if Pushkar is privy to Purna's truth or even Shravan's humiliation at school, at the prom night? I think what is hidden may not be so sensational.

Guess, Sumo is going to rile him up on Monday, with a few choice words and silence. I want this sleek, measured, controlled Shravan to be spontaneous and loose his cool.

@indranigupta Little does this grown boy know the repercussions of his actions. Today, unlike Shravan, the grown up, successful kid... Sumo, is a mature adult. She will handle the whole situation as an adult and Shravan's tantrums will start all over with renewed frenzy 🤣

Poor boy does not realize that till he is back in Sumo's life he is not going to let either of them be happy. 😆😆
