pretty obvious..iqbal is the better of the two..i still cant forget the superb chemistry betn iq n pallavi..they were the ideal tellycouple...

both r good.both r versatile actors.they both have their own charm to potray the character.when iqbal is shiv the character is used to be with full of attitude but at the same time we have seen a caring shiv kapoor.but when yash is shiv we have seen a loving husband n responsible father n son but we missed the attitude which shiv used to have but its not a big deal human changes right so its acceptble with the character.so there is no need to discuss who is good for shiv's character.yash potrayed the character very well n he did a very good job.no offence to anyone.its my opinion 😛 .even i love both the actors. 😳

The fact is that we had seen Iqbal playing Shiv in the begining and hence we can not mentally accept Yash as Shiv. As an actor Yash is more versatile while Iqbal is handsome and can play an angry young man's role well. It is just like comparing singers. It is a thumb rule; whoever sings first is the best. Same rule applies here ; one hu played shiv first will always b the best.
