My Twinj loving heart was doing cart wheels today after watching today's episode. And why not, it was an episode not just off fluff but also showcasing such growth for these two, especially Twinkle. She kept putting her feelings out there, honest and open without any expectation from Kunj. It was unabashed unfiltered and assertive, exactly like Twinkle.
Instead of crying and looking sad, Twinkle put her case in front of Kunj by applying logic and reasoning. By making him see things from her perspective she is appealing to not only his emotions but also to his intelligence forcing Kunj to think without anger clouding his judgement.
And I love that her assertive attitude continues through out the whole episode. The way she stated to Kunj as a matter of fact that he was her husband and even if the whole ceremony was false she still couldn't see him go through with it surprised Kunj. He probably didn't expect that her feelings ran that deep and he needed to hear that from Twinkle. She is willing to risk life and limb to prevent Kunj's roka with someone else.
And so she does! She take the bride's place and openly flirts with her husband (how cute was that by the way!) asserting that only she can lay claim to him all the while not letting poor Rajjo down. I loved her whole attitude! Full on Tashan! The way she stated very simple that no random Choudhry was going to get her husband hitched was like a open challenge not only to Raja's dancer daddy but also anyone who would think of becoming an obstacle to her getting her husband back. And even when Kunj was sweating bullets not only was she cool under her ghunghat and was giving him reasons to stay calm, she was also threatening his life in the same breath if he were to get engaged to anyone else albeit a fake ritual. This is Twinkle I fell in love with and thank god she's back with a bang!
