Even though the film is not particularly based on one lead, Fawad Khan's performance stands out. As Rahul, a sensitive, loving perfect' son with a heavy duty past, he is simply spot on. While many girls may flock to the theaters to just watch him smile, mind you he will make you cry with that performance.

Sidharth Malhotra as the troubled younger brother Arjun is average. His performance is quite stagnated all through the film and he fails to shine in any particular moment.

Though Sid and Alia are Dharma protgs, it's Fawad who shines bright. His performance at the "perfect" son with a secret, stands out. The actor shows versatility and vulnerability with equal ease. There's a lot more to this actor than good looks and charm. Sidharth, as the troubled younger brother, is passable. Fawad covers up for him.

He's proven it yet again that he's far above than just being an eye candy and a second fiddle . This is his 2nd Hindi film and 3rd feature film and he has once again shone in his part and won over the audience .

SId M did not get bad reviews actually. Many critics said his performance is apt and understated. So lets not make it that he was bad. Fawad surely stood out as almost 90 percent or more critics mentioned that. But its a film where ensemble delivered to get great reviews from all corners.and I think Sid M fans would be elated too justlike all Fawad fans as every critic mentioned that the scenes between brothers are a treat. 😳

Sid did not get bad reviews, he has been appreciated by critics for his honest perfromance, as for fawad .. couldnt have been a more proud fan! ❤️
