first of all I wanted to mention the new entry played by sukirti kandpal. She looked so cute in her Haryanvi get up and loved her exchanges with twinj. She's actually quite loveable as rajjo, so she will make for an enjoyable cameo appearance. The whole jatt chaudary family gave me a heropanti vibe as if any have you watched the movie there was a jatt family in there too and like this rajjo's family all the jatt family men in the heropanti movie were your classic alpha-males, misogynists and goons.
My god did sid kill it in this episode. Love how every track in this show is bringing out a different aspect to kunj's character; a man who goes out of his way to help others, a son who craves for his father's love, a young man who tires to be just and balance out his relationships, a source of comic relief and who loves to crack people up with his sense of humour, a protective man who shields the women he loves and respects from adversity and danger, a feisty young man when his patience is tested too much and pushed over the edge, a possessive husband when he senses his wife's self-respect is at stake, an adoring and dutiful husband and even a love-sick puppy, but also a man who is conflicted between what is right and wrong and can be overwhelmed by his emotions and personal loss. I have always felt there is a lot too kunj's character, but like how now and then a new aspect to kunj's character is added to keep things interesting.
Now what can I say about the episode as a whole...Comical! It really was a fun episode and damn sid really did have me in splits. even in such tough situations he displayed his humorous side making otherwise tense scenes look like a comedy scene. I need to applaud the dialogue writer as the dialogues were just so praise-worthy today. Here are my fave dialogues, all said by kunj of course:
-aatma batke gi yahan kuwe main, gau walon ko pareshan karogi fizool main.
-Tune uske baap ke aage mooh khola, toh woh is ladki ki jaan leh hi lega, aur mujhe ussi kuwe main penk dega jaha se maine isse bachaya.
-raja ki ayegi baraat, rangeeli ho gi raat, phir hum naachenge, aur agar raja ki nahin aayi baraat, toh tumhara baap hamari life rangeeli nahin, black and white bana dega, samjhi.
He cracked me up so much with these dialogues that I wnt back and re-watched those moments when he said those lines. I of course can't forget the best dialogue of the day, this being the stammering fiasco where kunj bechara was trying to lie to save his a** from rajjo's danger daddy and his goliyon ki zubaani 𤣠I mean, the way he kept stammering out of fear whilst trying to lie to chaudaryji that he and rajjo love eachother and want to marry was the most hilarious scene I have seen in a long time on tv with lines such as "..mein Rajjo woh karte hai..jo mein twinkle.. se..", "hum who karna chahte hai..who jo mere papa ne meri maa se kiya taa...". 𤣠š¤Ŗ
Oh kunj you are too cute and funny. But the highlight of that particular scene was when he was about to admit he loves twinkle and quickly corrected himself only to start blurting out a ton of hilarious crap. What actually surprised me today was twinkle's mature approach to the situation. whereas kunj was cursing his fate and wanting to tear his hair out of frustration and cracking jokes, twinkle was the one trying to get to the root of the problem and taking over the mantle as the siyaapa safaiwaali š We had all expected to see a insecure and angry twinkle but she was the least panicky of them all surprisingly.
I don't even want to get into the whole mahiraj tamasha; that mahi's brain has either gone dormant since she met yuvi, yah to dil khe saath dimaag bhi fisal gaya iss ladki kaa pyaar mein 𤣠𤣠The way yuvi has began showing his true colours to mahi and has been acting abusive towards her, any other girl would have put two and two together by now and figured out that yuvi is not the guy he has always tried to present himself to her as. Apart from the mahiraj scenes and the unwanted merger with jamai raja, this episode was brilliant and I am hoping tomorrow is better or as good as this.
