VERY STRANGE

Dhani's visit did stop Shalu's marriage as we all had hoped it would, but for the strangest reason. One would have expected that after all the tamasha, DT himself would have stopped Shalu's marriage to this party of questionable antecedents and repute, but surprisingly, Raja and his mother are the ones to call of the wedding.

I kept thinking it was a ruse on the Awasthis' part to have the ladki-wale beg them to go through with the marriage, but strangely enough Raja backs out on the question of "principles" of not wishing to make an alliance into a family that has connections with their "killer bahu." The mother also backs Raja to sing this new tune. What has happened to the Awasthi's desperation for this wedding? They even advanced the marriage, and have been continually harping on the necessity of this wedding without which they apparently do not have any money to even buy earthenware (despite their heavy jewelry and brand new silk and gold saris). Now, suddenly, they wish to back out. I wonder why, and I wonder if there is more than what meets the eye. Perhaps they feel that their game is up and therefore it is best to leave from Benaras with whatever scrap of dignity they have left, or else they are waiting to emotionally blackmail the Tripathis and lay down the condition that Raja will marry Shalu only if Viplav will not defend her in court. What do you all think?

Ah me too thought of the same thing as to Why would the Tripathi's still want the wedding to happen.

Stopping the wedding based on an accusation from Dhani is not credible to them . And why should they believe her ? Infact she is accused of murdering her husband more a reason not to trust her.

Secondly for a wedding to be stopped mid way ( with 4 pheras done ) and the groom walking out is a shame for any family and a girl however affluent a brides family is . Its a matter of prestige for a family of a Maha Pandit lest the word leaks out.

Lastly I don't think they are thinking too much about its impact on their daughter . Its only about getting her married and not about giving her a good life with a good partner. I have often seen women getting married and leaving the rest - Its her Fate - whatever happens after the marriage ceremony.

That's what I think.

Aimf 🤗 this question is bugging me since last 8 hrs n still I'm clueless dear.. there's no apparent reason for dat.. it's really confusing n cv's need to gve a really logical reason behind this calling off marriage.. DT pleading RA despite VT called wedding off means DT going against Viplov.. was a shocker.. n RA refused to marry despite knowing the fact that he wud b in so much more stronger position if he become SIL was the master of shocker today.. it might be becaz he has got some lethal plan to detach Viplov from AN n take away VT place in AN forever..😕 I've no other reason than this ridiculous one n now the onli thing I can do is WAIT n WATCH..!!😳

Thank you for the observation. What is intriguing for me is the reason why the Awasthis changed their minds? The motive might be to put pressure on the Tripathis to not let Viplav take up Dhani's case. Perhaps we will know tomorrow.

For the Avasthi's I think it is Power play and a ploy to twist their arm . Maybe there is more to it but I doubt it . It worth the wait to know more.

i am also confused😕 dont know why they reacted like that and refused to make alliance with the Tripathi khandan😕😕..i think u r right..may be seeing that even after the arrival of police viplav was supporting Dhani, they thought that Vipu may find out the truth about how munna awasthy was murdered..and in this way the 3 awasthies may go behind the bars so they are planning to leave Benaras ..but wait wait they showed Raja going to PS to meet Viplav...dont know what the CVs have planned...we will have to wait and watch😃

HI aimf.. I WAS watchng the episode and doing the take..
such a revolting scene it was all begging him including shalu.. firstly its a cultural thing where I come from that the boys side like to keep the girl's side slightly subservient. with Raja asdhani said he is a complete low life wont stop at nothing to get what he wants. Now If he has them in a bargaining position ,he is likely to fleece shalu's family all his life ,by simply saying.. you guys begged me to marry your daughter..its playing hard to get for an ulterior motive. another reason I mention in my take is,... to have viplav off dhani's case.. because his truth will be exposed! raja ka saach.. its a crucial question why did dhani run away.? she didnt tell us or viplav.. methinks it s to do with raja.. so all this drama iam not getting married is to have the upper hand on the girls side.I know its petty but happens.
