I started watching the show recently and have gone retrograde and watched almost all episodes now.
What is most irksome is the poor characterization of female lead's character.

The male lead-Dev Dixit is the cliched haughty business who is insensitive and thinks he rules the world.

The female lead on the other hand is a dietitian/nutritionist who is constantly refered to as a doctor ,which is faulty. She isn't a medical doctor,(please note CVs)
She maybe a phD which is a doctorate but she cannot be doing medical check ups or prescribe drugs which seems implied in the serial.
Her responses to Mr dev dixit's behavior is anything but professional. No Health professional should be behaving in such a manner.

curtness in voice towards a patient or their relative's behaviour maybe warranted at times but abusing an attendant under her breath in bengali or making faces isn't right. There should be thousands of dietitians like her that dev dixit can hire at whatever sum he is willing to pay and yet she says she is all about ethics while not following them herself.

In a professional relationship, one is not meant to act like a kid ,you are just supposed to do your job (taking care of the patient)and disappear. If one isn't able to do that,he/she shouldn't be doing that job.It is wrong to take the monthly income and yet behave like you are doing charity.

It is preposterous how it is imperative for the woman to do a job she isn't interested in and can't find another job while characterizing her as an above par professional in her field.

Both the leads are shown as immature characters who blow up at the slightest provocations.
This has been going on for years with businessmen in EK serials like yhm, but atleast maintain the ethics of a health professional.

Similar mishandling was done in the movie Khoobsurat in which the physiotherapist is seen as a reckless ,"i'll do whatever I feel like " character. That is insane to say the least.well,.It was a disney movie -loud and flashy .

At least in a long running serials these details should be looked into.

and who hires a full time dietitian/nutritionist .. very wired,

Nurse might have been a better option , but that would be too cliched .. old movies style

@ifrini- very true, one can have a personal nutritionist but what is even the point of a stay at home nutritionist?
There are physicians who do home consults or full time nurse or attendants.

Dev dixit's mother is fully oriented ,aware of herself, surroundings and conscious of her own well being. There is no need for her health to be monitored full time anyway.

And anyway, a nutritionist isn't even responsible for taking care of her health.

The research that has gone into character development is very poor

I am feeling this track is mindlessly forced to interact the leads at the cost of Sonakshi's character. Completely agree with you
Dev being a professional himself cannot be so mindless and adamant
OK, his mom is extra special for him but that doesn't mean you tell a doctor or a nutrionist to cook food and feed someone... That's not their job! And he should understand that

A weak effort in making the leads come closer
These creatives need to come up with something better!

And most importantly strengthen the female lead character...

That is what Sony creatives need to work on MOST! They just throw mindless tracks and weak leads, and then magically expects things to just blossom! This isn't a movie where, boy meets girl, they biker and fight, and then realize they love each other, at the drop of the hat! In long running serials, when u have the time, you can coordinate a better characterization and development of characters and then build the story slowly as it goes.. strengthening the characters and story, simultaneously. In movies are short, so you got to build and finish the story quick.. in serials you are given that time to build something better. They should utilize it !

All the characters are out of sync...
Dev's mom does not appear to be middle class single mom who did sewing to raise her children. She seems too sophisticated and fashionable which does not match her past. On top of it, she looks hale and hearty, and not sick at all.

Dev's character also is OTT. He can love his mom very much but to take away someone's job and ensure she remains unemployed so that she can work for his mom is very ruthless. A boy who grew up in adversity is taking advantage of a girl's helplessness speaks very ill of his character. And also is inconsistent with his character.

Neha's tantrums are like school going kid. A girl who brought up her younger sisters like a mother is expected to behave with maturity but is shown behaving childishly for an AC. It is too inconsistent.

Erica seems too audacious at times. If she had no option other than this job then she might as well behave courteously and professionally.

Erica's mom looks more like her Bhabi, or Saurav's wife. She looks too young as a mother of 2 grown-up working children.

All the members of the Bong family speak horrible Bengali except the mom. Erica's pronunciation is the worst. Her Mr. Obdro needs to be improved right away. Can't take it.

I like the show and want it to do well. But if CVs are not paying attention to these details, it won't survive.

@juhi-- It's a family which has seen bad times and has grown up from there.
It is weird how and why none of the women can take charge of the kitchen or what is to be made in the kitchen.
What work will a nutritionist have in a household all the time. She isn't cooking the food,..how many times is she supposed to supervise the same thng

I totally agree with you. See they already have a cook.
It would be more believable if she were ti visit once a day and supervise what food is being cooked and what the patient is being fed.
She feels more like a cook cum maid cum nutritionist to me. She is also serving the food.
Its really weird

i agree with , creatives research is hollow. Even in balh the in house doctor's character was just blah blah.. all she did was to write prescriptions and dress up wounds of her bf
I think this serial will soon go saas bahu way
