I have a question for you guys to ponder and discuss:

I am pretty new here but there is this question that has been boggling my mind forever. How come we make such a big deal or fight over little things when it comes to female celebs - their relationships, their looks, and every little thing about them?

Of all the forum topics I've seen, rarely I do see such topics regarding male celebs but about their physical appearance, their affairs, and etc.

Is our mindset influenced by society?

I know I am asking this on this forum but I just had to get this out before I go insane.

I think there are more female than male IF members and women tend to be harder on each other than men especially with looks. Regarding affairs, I'm biased (married to a successful man I watch other women surreptitiously - they think - flirt with W*F!!? so have ZERO ZERO ZERO sympathy for the PCs and KRs of the world) but generally agree we also hold women's sexual conduct to a higher standard than men which isn't fair. However I do not think that is only in BW. I think it's just life. Or "influenced by society" as you said.

It would be interesting to see whether the opposite would be true if most IF members were male.

You know what one thing that I hate the most is females put females down most of the time.which is just so sad in our society.just go to site or online portals all I see is girls s**t shaming actresses.which is disgusting.

I agree. There isn't one social media platform where I don't see any females putting other females down unless it concerns a guy in a relationship, or their looks.
