Sonali lied -- She is a trained dancer

Sonali while venting said that 'why doesn't judges understand that I am learning dance for the first time?'. I was thinking that she is a film actor who did a fabulous number like 'Woh ladki..' in DCH and yet claim to not know dance.

But here on her own website she clearly states that she has learned dance and taught too. http://www.sonalikulkarni.org/

It is sad that people at this age and that too an award winning celebrity would resort to such lies. Contests should be taken seriously but some of these people stoop to any level to win it. Sudha Chandran was constantly criticized for being a trained dancer but she always took it in right spirit and also elegantly went out. Very few people have sportsman spirit like Mr.Negi, Sudha Chandran and Ronit Roy. Others are always crying foul.[/QUOTE]

No. She clearly said 'I am learning dance for the first time' which in itself is a lie because for films she has to learn some dance and she was very good in 'Woh ladki' from DCH. Then on her website she clearly mentions that dance is her passion and hobby and also she is learned dancer and a teacher too.

This never came out in public and only Sudha was criticized. Sonali is just crying foul but the truth is she is not good. Even I am a trained dancer and such people do have some advantages like when she did folk number which is very easy for a trained dancer but she wants everyone to believe that she tried hard and got 28 because of that.

Since she is a trained dancer I would rate her even below Mika.
