Bhumi Pednekar Is On A Roll
Call it luck or sheer talent but Bhumi Pednekar, who was earlier working with Yash Raj Films' casting department, got lucky and bagged Dum Laga Ke Haisha. The actress gained weight for the film but the entire industry took notice of her. Before we knew it, Pednekar was signed by Yash Raj Films for a three-film deal. She is also currently shooting with her Dum Laga Ke Haisha co-star Ayushmann Khurrana for Sameer Sharma's Manmarziya.
Wait, there's more. We are now told that Pednekar has been signed by Neeraj Pandey's production house for a woman-oriented film and also by Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions. Announcements will soon follow.
