Henpecked (March 11th Episode) Written Summary

Sakshi asks if Grandma (Janki) will welcome her mother. Kajal tries to reason with Sakshi but she refuses. Sakshi says that when a girl is newly wedded and comes to the house she is supposed to be welcomed. Kajal asks her who told her this. Sakshi says her Grandma (Akshay's mom) told her this.

Raunak becomes very distressed when Sakashi starts to cough uncontrollably. Kajal tries to make Sakshi drink water but she refuses and is being stubborn about her mother being welcomed into the Tiwari Household

Raunak comes inside and pleads with his mother to please perform the ritual for Sakshi's sake. Janki finally agrees as she cannot see her son stressed and asks that the prayer plate and other preparations be made. Everyone in the Tiwari Household are little surprise by this.

Janki performs a shortened version of the Grihapravesa to Kajal (only the prayer plat and the rice pot) Munmun starts her faking crying and runs back to her room with Kaamini. The rest of the family take Sakshi into the house and are playing with her leaving Janki and Kajal alone. Kajal bows her head and tries to stress to Janki that she knows this marriage is all fake and this was only done to save Sakshi. She has no secret motives. Janki doesn't believe her and tells her she should know her limits.

Kajal asks Neeti if everything is all right with Munmun. Neeti explains that on the day Raunak and Munmun were going to get married Sakshi's hospitalization prevented it from happening. Munmun is waiting to get married to Raunak. Kajal has a flashback to Munmun's words that she is only marrying Raunak for his money.

In Munmun's room she is continuing her crying drama. Janki enters and promises she will be apart of the family. Raunak comes too and reassures Munmun it is only for a few more days until Sakshi has recovered. But before Munmun can say anything Neeti comes in a panic looking for her brother. Raunak rushes out the minute he hears it is about Sakshi.

In Kajal's room, Kajal is trying to reason with Sakshi and asks her not to be stubborn. Sakshi continues to not listen and Kajal starts to scold her. Raunak comes in and starts fighting with Kajal that she should not be scolding Sakshi. He asserts his right as "her Papa" and they should at least hear what Sakshi wants.

Janki, Munmun, and Kaamini have arrived to the room and is witnessing Raunak and Kajal fighting like typical parents would about their children. Kaamini keeps saying how crafty Sakshi is.

Kajal relents and Raunak asks Sakshi what is the matter. Sakshi says she wants her mother, her Papa, and her to sleep in one bed. Everyone in the room is shock.

Munum and Kaamini leave the room in a huff again.

The scene shifts and Janki and Raunak are discussing what to do. Raunak looks pretty stressed at the situation with Kajal, Sakshi, Janki, and Munmun. Raunak suggests that he will pretend to stay the night in the room. He will stay until Sakshi falls asleep and then leave. Janki still doesn't like it so he suggests that he will go and stay at Munmun's house at night.

Their conversation is interrupted when Munmun and Kaamini show up. Both Janki and Raunak see Munumn has packed her suitcase. Munmun says they were right it was going to be hard to see her fiancee have to play this drama with another woman. She is leaving the house to make it easier.

Munmun and Kaamini have walked to the front door and are ready to leave the house. Munmun is happy as thinks her plan will work and shares this with her mother. Janki shows up and sternly says she was wrong about Munmun being the girl for Raunak making it obvious that Janki knows Munmun has being overly dramatic on purpose. Janki states what she wants in her bahu is someone who can be docile, not think, and dance to her tunes. But Munmun has been trying to use her brain and do things to her advantage. Kaamini looks worried. Janki then warns Munmun and Kaamini to stay within their limits. Munmun and Kaamini will stay in one room while Raunak sleeps in his own room tonight at their house. Munmun should learn patience and not to add to his worries. He is currently in no position to start any new relationship right now.

Another point scored in Akshay's corner via his mother against Janki by telling little Sakshi about the Grihapravesa. Even from beyond he is able to take jabs at Janki 😆

Kajal having that flashback fight with Munmun is not a good sign for Munmun or Janki . She'll be digging her nose into those affairs she should not have anything to do with 🤓 oh the drama of that 😆 Soon "fake" will become "real" 😳

I always enjoy the Janki putting Munmun in her place scenes. It is strange even though Janki says she doesn't want a scheming daughter-in-law she has picked Munmun. Guess Janki figures she can control Munmun more than someone like Kajal. The sad thing is Kajal is probably the one person who could truly love Raunak and take care of him and the entire family...and actually protect them.

Janki's concern over Raunak's state of mind is somewhat laughable considering she is the cause of most of his stresses. If she hadn't been overly protective like this then he would never been in this situation that he is facing now. Janki may "love" her children but her overprotectiveness and the need to control their lives because she could never control hers is causing more harm than good for her children.

It has only been half a day and Raunak is already sweating bullets. He can't handle 3 women and a little girl 🤣
