On behalf of Abhay who requested me to add some pictures. Sorry, for the extreme bad quality. Abhay was right, the tour guide mess up all the facts. I was planning on seeing the Amer Fort, but I am going there end of the year , Cheers. I was sad that I could not visit Akbar's or Jodha tomb due to lack of time. When I go again in few months to India, I will surely visit. Let me FS does have JA love story etched all over. It's so sad to see a beautiful country like India's sites are maintained so poorly esp. FS.

Hope you enjoyed the visit. The problem is that these heritage sites are located in Agra, one of the poorest regions of India. Even then, heritage sites must be maintained and preserved. Once they are gone, they are gone for ever, just like the Bamiyan Buddhist temples dynamited by the Taliban.

Humayun's tomb in Delhi is well maintained. Recently revamped.

But same can not be said about the structures elsewhere. Though now they are developing Agra as one of the centers of UP Heritage Arc just like The Golden Triangle Area.

Best thing to do is getting hold of as many manuals possible to avoid confusion by guides and brush up history of the place.

Surely the visit was enjoyable, as you plan to visit again. All the best.
