I find it odd that Sonakshi is referred to as a doctor, but a nutritionist is not considered a medical doctor as they are not required to go to Med school. Some do have their PhD's but even then it is not the same thing as a medical doctor. Do you think this is a silly error by production or are they just ignorant?

I know this is a minor detail and doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, but I just found it odd😆

True, nutritionist is not a medical doctor. The serial has introduced Sonakshi as a nutritionist. The cvs should clarify this issue.

Well my dietician/nutritionist is a doctor.
she's done BHMS . It's possible .

What's a BHMS? Here in Canada to be a doctor you need a MD and a nutritionist doesn't require it. You just need to complete your undergrad, also if you do want to get a doctorate (PhD) in nutrition it takes around 10 years and even then it's not the same as an MD - and Sonakshi is too young for that anyway 😆 Maybe I'm looking too into it but its an integral part of the show and the CV's should have done some background check before making such a blunder or at least clarified it

When they introduced Sonakshi as a doctor I thought she was doctor doctor but then she turned out to be a nutritionist . They are not taken as doctors :p maybe it's giving respect by calling her one .

In Indiat there are pg degree or diploma course for nutrition and dietics after MBBS. So technically it's possible for a mbbs graduate(essentially a medical doctor) to specialize as a nutritionist and dietician.

This is in India (my sister completed her MBBS and was looking at pg courses when I came across this fact). I have no idea what qualificationsa are required abroad.
