There is this quote which I really like...

'Anyone can be a father but it takes someone special to be a Dad'

That pretty much sums up the answer to your question for me 😛

Father is more biological...while we can find a dad even in not blood relationships for e.g step relationships.

Abhi will become the father.Generally some ladies marry for the second time with kids so whomever marry that women becomes the step father to that kids.The kids surname name also can be changed unless the real father doesn't claim for his rights.
Ps-I am not sure.
