I don't know why.. But I think Kuhu isn't Naitik's daughter..

May be she is Shauriya's daughter or someone else.. Naitik is just trying to cover up the thing..

I don't think Kuhu is Naitik's child either. His character and personality would not allow this kind of lapse in morality and behavior! However, Naitik is covering up for some close friend/relative and has been paying for Kuhu and her mother's care. Kuhu couldn't be more than 6-7 years old, so not sure which friend could be her father. It cannot be Sharya, as he hasn't been in HK long enough to have a 7 year old child!

Either way, it makes no sense for Naitik to hide this child from Akshra as she has proven to him how understanding and supporting she has been to him. She has already brought an orphan into the family ( yes, we don't see this grown adopted girl anymore in the show),.

The CV's want to prolong the mystery child's father, but should weigh this against how tiring it is for audiences to watch each episode that is filled with near misses between Naitik and Akshra with this child. Just lengthening an episode does not make the mystery more endearing and exciting, but rather, audiences come to a point when they won't care about solving the mystery!
