The casting director and the dialogue writer of udaan needs to be congratulated. Love the new cast . Everyone seems so right for the role in which they have been cast. Am also liking the elder lot very much too
Casting VJ in the grey role of suraj was a master stroke..VJ is bringing in the right mix of arrogance, and anger and is evoking the fear among people by his actions. In Vj's case his eyes can convey almost any emotion and that is his biggest strength.But there is a softer side to suraj which he reserves for his mother and that makes him vulnerable.Just love this new type of baddie! Udaan is the only show where many of us are rooting for the bad guy!
Meera brings the freshness and the innocence required of chakor. It seems believable that spandan has transformed into meera. Am liking vidhi too she is Portraying the rustic imli very well
Paras and Varun are also doing their part convincingly. paras's potrayal as the weak, and highly emotional drugged vivaan is nice too.I don't know if it was always like this but chakor is the emotionally stronger one in the chakor- vivaan story and that has been brought out well.
I started seeing udaan a few days before the leap but when the leap happened the graduation from child artists to these actors seemed so natural.
The dialogues in this show after the leap has been good . Am not sure if it was always like this.but just love the dialogues in this show.
With such a stellar cast, a new concept , and amazing dialogues what udaan needs is a little more publicity. Am hoping COLORS will do it. If so it is a matter of time before udaan reaches and remains at a trp of 3 and above.
