Both Farah and SLB are of the same ilk(perhaps that is why they share this love-hate relationship 😆 )...Both of them are so presumptuous about their films...Farah makes tongue in cheek films which are senseless and devoid of logic, where we can get to see SRK at his hammiest best and she takes tremendous pride in those films,SLB makes films which are abstruse and achingly difficult for an average viewer to understand and enjoy...Both are unapologetic about their signature styles, adamant NOT to change and completely disregard any criticism....

After a spectacular Chak De,SRK's performance in OSO is hammy and embarrassingly disappointing ..And to think I hounded my mum to make some calls to get me tickets at short notice 😭 .... I was certain Deepika would flounder, but she pulls off certain scenes with great aplomb, albeit being relegated to virtually being a coy and unintelligently pretty lass...I wouldn't judge her too harshly for beeing woodden and clueless in some scenes, she certainly deserves few more chances before being written off completely...Though if she doesn't improve,I'm afraid she would join the club of non-actresses who perform once in a blue moon a la Ash,Priyanka etc

OSO wasn't entirely disappointing,as I didn't expect to watch a masterpeice...But it was cheesy, very very cheesy even by Farah's usual standards...It's a stupid film, and is propelled by star power and music alone...Replace SRK with some other newcomer, the film would have bombed 😃

My cousins warned me against watching Saawariya, and I know better than to discard their advice 😃

I agree with you on Farah's direction. Yes, she is the best choreographer in bollywood but somehow I don't have much regard for her as a director. I like Sanjay's work- Khamoshi, HDCS and Black were good movies, but Devdas was too melodramatic.

I was expectin alot from saawariya, ppl said its a boring film, but i read many personal reviews regarding OSO, and ppl said that they enjoyed it alot, its awesome!! at the end of the day, its entertainment which ppl wants after spending their money on ticket, and when u get a dissapointing ending, u will definitely not like it!

Sanjay shouldnt have relased Sawariya on the eve of diwali, i feel bad for sonam as so far ranbir has stolen praises.. neways i will still give my final verdict after watching both the movies but so far definitely oso has an upper hand 😛

Every Diwali this is wat happens..Two major releases, lots of publicity and hype...END RESULT..usually both movies are bad in content! This year too..same thing, if we go by the reviews..both OSO and Saawariya are bad in content! OSO has a crappy comedy..and Saawariya has no story!

If these movies had released at any other timings except Diwali without all these hypes..i think they would have flopped big time!

Last year too- Don Vs. JEM ..both were not up to the mark- average!

the year before - kyonki ( flop) vs. Garam Masala (average)

I think filmmakers need to understand just caz they release on Diwali, it doesn't mean they have to spend all their energy on promotion, instead of actual film itself!

I am very disapponted with all these reviews, wat r ur thoughts?

yea i kind of thought they wouldnt be the best because when u expect too much out of a movie and so much hype is created ur always in for a disapointment so i know what u mean... jab we met or bhool buliya didnt have as much hype as sawarriya and OSO and look how great those movies turned out especcially jab we met mostly cuz i didnt expect too much out of it and thought it would be just an average time pass flick
