Kunj has understood Twikle's impulsiveness from before marriage. Remember when he told her that if someone needs to learn how to love, they should learn from Twinkle. He has seen how much she devotes herself to every single person she loves and cares for. He has seen how she doesn't think twice about her actions and decisions in order to help someone and that is Twinkle's weakness and flaw. He has pointed it out a lot of times in terms of her bachpana. Twinkle's intentions are always perfect but she never thinks through.I think the whole scene was symbolic of the fact that her new-found faith in Kunj will help her get back on her feet and walk towards him and his family in the rightful manner. Twinkle wouldn't waste her time asking Kunj to understand her after what has happened but will try to figure out how despite her taking all the precautions she could think of, the pictures were leaked. The thing is that Honor is a way of life South East Asian countries. Without honor, we don't have a way of life. Indians, Pakistanis, Bengalis: the common thread among the three nationalities is the family value system and the pedestal we put our honor on. I saw Gurleen's post about Twinkle getting a divorce and honestly, as much as a great option walking away would be for Twinkle, we will never see a girl willingly taking divorce on any Indian or Pakistani show. Till the end, the girl will try to make the relationship work. I think majority of us on this forum are international viewers and that is why we can't deal with he whole saas-bahu drama but these kind of situations (I'm sure not this much severe) are very prevalent in our society and culture. Our society repeatedly places our happiness and life satisfaction as a second priority.

-----------------UNRESSAs much as I said yesterday that Jasmine could have done better, she nailed it today! Her tone, her eyes, expressions, everything was on point, nothing was over done or under done, it was just the perfect notch we needed.I know loads are upset and scared for the future episodes because Kunj seemed very upset today, not ANGRY, but disappointed, devastated, bewildered, basically everything but angry. BUT he was angry at the situation, angry at the reporters, angry at everything around him for he the situation was out of his hands, he was not able to do anything at that point, there was nothing he could have done to erase what happened permanently from everyones lives, and that was eating him from the inside, his lack of power to control the situation got to the worst of him today.I'd like to highlight some dialogues:"Kya soch kay tune mujhe nahi bataya? Bharak jao ga? Gussa ajaye ga mujhe?...""Aur aik beta honay kay nathar mera farz bantha hai kay mein apney papa ki izzat bacha kar rakho!""BEEVE HONAY KAY NATHAR TERE FARZ BANA THA HAI KAY TU MUJHE SE KUCH NA CHUPAYA!!!"And right after he said that, he turned away, and after about like five seconds when he turned back and looked at him...BANG! I got my answer and knew i was right. His look, the expression, his eyes were practically yelling, yearning, begging for her to take her statement back and tell him shes just lying, she had nothing to do with it and didnt even know anything about anything!! I dont know about the rest of you, but expression did it for me and I know this is going to be an interesting ride, yet hes gonna get her back and that too sooner than yall think he is.But when she didnt answer anything, his worst fear became reality. He heard what the doctor said, which fueled his emotions further and he left the hospital. Because he knew he could not stand there and ignore Twinkle but at the same time he also wanted to be reassured in her arms, that everything would be okay. Its okay! That was not possible so he left. But Kunj's scene, when he was yelling at her, he was so upset, his voice began cracking when he asked what did you fix? Nothing! Goddammit Sid nailed it, it was so beautifully, you felt the characters pain for his father. And he still cared, even while seeing red, he did not forget to send the car back for her, he knew no one but he would have to take care of her regardless of everything. He knew that if he didnt send a car for her anything could happen to her. But he did what he could, give her that little bit of reassurance, unintentionally, that they might still have hope but the both of them need to fight for it.Twinkles pleas, cries, and her falling down, broken, was so heart breaking. But I would like to point out, that she never reached that point when she Yuvi left her, you know why? Cause KUNJ WAS THERE! He caught her right before she collapsed! He did! He did it by being a friend, a partner, a buddy but he did not let her fall. He helped her get up, he helped her recover, he gave her what she needed atm to get back up, he did everything he could have for her. However, this time she fell, she really collapsed and her heart really broke this time. I give it her tho, She will become stronger, and will fight to get Kunj back because KUNJ IS WORTH IT BUT YUVI WASNT! His protective embrace around Twinkle has been broken temporarily, not PERMANENTLY, itll be reinstated once his simmers down a bit. Then came along the annoying and overly dramatic MIL, who i doubt has logic, claims either her or Twinkle. This early in their relationship, and this early in Twinkles in-laws house hold it was obvious that it was obviously the mother. Twinkle has not yet crossed the road of where she comes first for Kunj, she is almost there; so close yet so far.But did you guys see Kunj? His expressions, His anguish of not being able to stop Twinkle, him closing his fist because he knew he wanted to but he couldnt. Then appeared the best flashback of the all flashbacks, where Kunj told Twinkle that"Vaada kiya tha na tujse kay mein khud puray izzat aur saman kay saath iss ghar mein tuje wapas leke aunga?!"For some reason, i felt like Kunj had the same flashback but he knew he was failing his promises to her. But its okay cause they will be back together before you know it and this time, this promise would weigh a lot for them.Him going back to his room, and unintentionally opening Twinkles closest conveyed so clearly how he still fails to believe that she left him and she hid something so huge from him. There always going to be something that pulls him towards her even if he fights against it he will fail. And that was reflected and backed up so many times in the episode.Yes, the last scene did show his flaw, but thats why exactly why the trust level in their relationship was not cemented in yet. HE even said it himself, abhi abhi yakeen...something like that, once he realizes whats his is hers and vice versa, everything will fall back into place.Kunj is yet to understand the importance Twinkle holds in his life and his house! He is definitely going to become Hubby goals once again and he will retain his protective embrace Twinkle once again also.Humari Adhuri Kahani was the perfect BG song, their story hasnt even begun yet! The best awaits us...Oh and I also loved BEBE, the one true loyal family member!@BLUE And the fact that today, as well, amidsteverything he said the same to Anita, that she might be a bit immature but she will never do anything to hurt the family. But then where is the problem? Why is he mad at her? Because She hid it from him, he should have been acknowledged about it. people are mentioning how he hid her father's issue as well, and Twinkle did get upset over that too. lets all not forget he didnt kick her out but yes he didnt stop her also.@Purple The amount of times i have said that is actually insane! Im literally waiting for her to rise, Kunj isnt there to save her anymore, its just her.@RED Thank you! I felt the same! Plus its an indian serial, we cant all of sudden want a revolution. Tbh, at the end of the day its just a show and that too for entertainment.Dont be sorry, I look forward to yours and Teddys post! LOL i should beapologizingfor my neverendingcomment😆

I loved this. I'm so glad I'm not the only one that picked up on some of the things you pointed out. Sid's voice modulation was brilliant. I know exactly which part you're referring to because God, did my heart break or what? I also loved your reference to his expression softening when she removed the knife from Usha's hand. I thought I imagined it so I had to rewatch it and seriously Sid amazes me every time.
I basically agree with your whole post. I've already discussed my feelings in a separate post so I'm not going to rant again. I find your references to numerology so interesting, have you studied it by any chance?I'm going to skip to the end of your post because its 12am here and I've got to be up at 8 lolYour association to the South Asian culture couldnt have been more accurate, sadly. Its true, utmost importance is given to respect and status of family regardless of whether you live in an Eastern or Western country. It's also true that men remain to be conflicted between their mother and wife. As much as I hate that all this exists, it does. So I like that TEI, though very dramatic, is still displaying realism to an extent.
