Sidharth on Bang Bang 2: The Story has Nothing to do with Bang Bang!

Sidharth Malhotra is currently prepping up for the release of his film Kapoor and Sons, after which he shall be working on two films - Baar Baar Dekho with Katrina Kaif and one untitled project with Fox Star Studios.

Initially the reports were that Sidharth has been roped in for Fox Star Studios' Bang Bang 2, a sequel to the Hrithik Roshan starrer.

However, in an interview during his Kapoor and Sons promotions, Sidharth clarified the news and said, "It is not entirely a sequel and we have still not titled the film. It is an action film with Fox, so let's see if they plan to make it a part of Bang Bang franchise or no. But I promise you that the story has nothing to do with Bang Bang."

Probe him more about the movie and he reveals, "My film with Fox (read Bang Bang 2) is not a serious intense action film. If I have to put it in a genre, it is action with a slight hint of humour in it. The action in it is very real. I have actually started training for the film. I am training in hand to hand combat and martial arts so I am trying to pick up a different sport to hit people."

Hmm.. Guess we will have to wait some more to know the name of the movie! We thinks it is Bang Bang 2. What about you?
