I did not know that DD Is being forced and I do not know anything about politics.
Hope DD does not suffer any permanent damage. She had injuries in Jhalak, she has just injured her fingers and ofcourse I would not like damage to skin.

In a seg yest.they said that they heard that prod.team wanted to keep more dark look for DD as Savitri but DD wasn't comfortable so they keep it less dark..and good she denied what she didn't like so i would say DD knows better what she's doing..and she'll take decision accordingly..but ya i hope doing Savitri won't harm her skin and her in anyway..and everything will be taken care off well.👍🏼

Black is beautiful...I don't think anyone thinks differently on that..

But to imply that a person becomes unrecognizable simply by darkening the tone of their skin..

I think it is the thought process of the writers that is questionable here

Like Sid turned into Tai in JR, why couldn't they give G a male look...like that warrior look for example...they could have worked on that..

To darken the skin tone is to imply that it is color that makes all the difference to a person's identity...that is unacceptable and to be condemned!

And when an actor is not comfortable, it is unethical on the part of a PH or channel or the creatives to arm twist her into doing it...!

hi bertie 😊 how r u??
missing u nd ur posts on this forum!!
well it all depends how u perceive it -maybe writer hasn't taken it in a wrong waybut as far as we know nilu ji any thing can happen 😆
nd as someone said that dd was told to darken the complexion nd she refused-thats gud if she doesn't want she said it .nd i think as long as actor is fine everything is fine nd dd is enough mature to understand this nd decide.

To me giving her a darker skin or a male look both are unbelievable. Giving a male look would not make a woman less recognizable.. In most desi shows they apply holi colors on the skin and presume that nobody will recognize them.. I agree that is stupid. Color does not make one unrecognizable but neither does a male look.
They needed to give the FL a disguise and they chose this route.. I do not think the cv's are thinking as deeply as you and me. I hope they will show that color does not make a difference to the character of a person. If I interpreted your writing correctly you we want to condemn that the cv's are showing that color makes a difference to the persons identity. But honestly, I do not know where this is going with the CV's, but do think color is just used as a disguise only because they do not think deeply.

If DD did not want to do this I agree the actor should not be forced..
