Saumya Tandon debuting in 'Maya'
Friday, April 6th, 2007Television may have been her launchpad, but Saumya Tandon aka Rusty of 'Aisa Des Hai Mera' has moved on to bigger things. She will make her debut in an English film, 'Maya', produced by a Canadian company. The 30-minute film, to be directed by Imtiaz Ali, will be screened only at film festivals. Tandon is unfazed about playing the second lead to Kareena Kapoor.
"I'm not pretending that it's my film, but I have an interesting part," says Tandon. At least, this one is honest.
