Maybe I am the only one, but I do like Katrina's acting sometimes. She was way too good in Bang Bang. I don't mind being judged by people for having this opinion, because I genuinely like Katrina sometimes. I liked her in ETT, APKGK and more recently in Phantom as well. She wasn't great in Phantom but was alright-ish.

I have never been able to sit through Lootera for more than 15 mins, so I can't rate Sonakshi's acting in that. But all the other work of her that I've seen, she appears like a goon to me whenever she opens her mouth. Her work so far has not impressed me much.

And Sonam's fans are always trying to kill me 😆 .. I've gotten used to their rants and can handle them easily 😆

Just for the record: Priyanka Chopra became only the 3rd woman in history to win the National Award AND Filmfare Award for the same film with Fashion. And she did so after a gap of 25 years. The other 2 were Shabana Azmi and Smita Patil. To say she was overshadowed is ridiculous.

Vidya Balan and Kangana Ranaut have since achieved the same feat.

^ These 3 films count as half of Parineeti's entire Filmography and they are completely different from each other. Even in her other 3 films, just because her character is a confident young woman doesn't mean it's the same role because each of those characters has distinguishing personalities.

I dunno I dont have much knowlegde about it(analysis of acting 😛) but Parineeti for me tends to play the same loud tom boyish girl.
yeah Haase Toh Phasee was a different one, but other I felt she acted same.

This Fashion debate is interesting. Kangy's character was bound to be the one that leaves more impact because sympathy .Story of a declining star and who meets her sad end. I remember it was based on model Geetanjali who was pretty much in the news for similar events.Also the Carol Gracias moment. One toned but one that Kangy aced. For me it was an extension of her Woh Lamhe/Gangster gigs. Larger than life and the spiraling story.

While PC had the tougher role IMO, the girl who was young, ambitious, made choices for her career..arrogance, her neglect of her loved ones, friendships and then spiraling..the sleeping with the Afro guy..we are pretty much divided over her character. You either life her or hate her. More nuances in my opinion . Kangy and PC aced their roles but PC had the tougher role and actually sells it without overpowering the story.
