I wish I had the power to turn back time...

To a time where there was a small ray of hope...

Hope that the girl who made a home in my heart is real...

But, alas I now know that nothing was real...

It was all a mirage...

A beautiful mirage.

oh how I ache...

I wish I could turn back the clock...

To the time I was non the wiser...

So that this ache would no longer be...

Alas all I can do is wait...

Wait for my beating heart to still.

Memories rush...

Taunting me...

Teasing me...

My heart cries as tears fall...

Oh how I ache.

Dear heart...

Be still for just a moment...

A moment of solace is all I ask...
