Written Thoughts - MoChhug's Poetry - New Piece on PG 7

Your intense looks my elixir of life.

You pushed me away, like I was a bad habit.

You pulled me closer, when I chose to take flight.

I decided to push you away instead.

I decided to give it a try.

I understood why you did it, for a day.

But not for longer than that.

You didn't pull me back.

You let me push you away.

You let me feel like I left you,

When in fact I was forced to stray.

Still I waited, to be pulled back in.

For the vicious cycle to continue.

But how can you be pulled back in,

By something you finally outgrew?
