I am under the impression that Diwali is a festival which celebrates triumph of good over evil. But I guess by the way things are progressing in Kekta land be it in KS (which I just skim now and then out of curiosity) and here in KYMT, evil seems to be triumphing over good! KS showed the most heart breaking episode of JB twins losing their lives today. In KYMT we are on the verge of losing our favourite jodi, Michi. I guess everything is just topsy turvey in Kekta land.

Oh yes, some people have a sadistic streak in them. Or may be she is making sure that people are put off by such secenes that they will not see them and instead enjoy the festival with their families rather than spend it in front of the idiot box.

I recently attended a party where there was this stand up comedian who said that Kekta serials were more dangerous than atom and nuclear bombs because the destroy human relationships (not just human lives) and ends up leaving you to question if there is indeed anything good in the world!

Yeah Shanta, the lady knows how to bait her fish - get a fabulous pair together, dish out some equally fab romantic scences between them and when the gullible audience are hooked, draw in the line with some crappy track even as they are too stunned to react. Just as they begin to blink and try to get away, snatch them up, cook them, nice and brown and then slice them up. The torture can go on for two years!
