@Behenji: There is no Rupe vs. Dan. They're both lovely, just depends on your liking. Mine is for Dan who is btw, the humblest & most down to Earth celebrity of his stature that you can meet.

@MeB and Noteworthy: I could never discern or pin point what exactly about Emma it is that repels me but MeB articulated it best.
I thought we'd be rid off her when she went to Brown's; all actors were atrocious in HP (even the seasoned ones), it just dumbed them down, save for Rupert that is but she's the only one who outside of it still remains awful. She's too much of a prissy polly without any substance or shine and that permeates in her acting too.

'Basic' is apt, she just spells insipid as a personality in whole, all the guys I know are besotted with her and Kiera (another persona I don't get the overwhelming appeal for). I didn't know Tom said that 🤣 I love him even more.

Yeah it was reported Dan and Rupert weren't close/ or even kept at all in touch, Rupert always seemed distant from the group which is why Dan-Emma appeared closer, outwardly, back in the day.
As for Dan- have to say my gaydar is pretty off, I take what they say at face value, he didn't strike me as the type who'd remain in a closet. The only actor it turns out my suspicions may have been right for is JRM- I remember discussing this with you.

^ No don't think the legends of Brit cinema were dumbed down, infact Alan Rickman was the best acting of the series!! But the young cast took time
To find it's feet which is completely understandable since how for many it was their first HUGE job & then to act against & with such stalwarts puts pressure on a different level. Dan improved remarkable & he was his best in HP5. That scene when he realises Sirius has died... That melting grief expression... OMG! That expression was perfection... Watson was super-overhyped with all directions praising her to the skies & comparing her to Audrey Hepburn (hope she doesn't turn in her grave) and what not. She's a very average, basic actor. Dan is miles ahead of her in acting & choices today though he was the weakest of the entire lot when he begun, Rupe & Tom are natural actors. Tom's portrayal of Draco was much, much shorter of the rest but he still managed to capture your attention! ESP in 5 & 6 where he brought Draco's confusion, anguish & depressed despair amazingly well!! Plus he's such a sweet, nice, smart man.


Yes I remember chatting with you about JRM. Always felt he was bisexual but I believe he leans much more towards gay... Another one who is gay? Clooney. 😉

CZ, men are obsessed with her I've NO idea!!! But most men are idiots in general. I like Keira a lot & she isn't really like Watson though she comes off like that. Plus she's actually very very pretty unlike Watson so there's that too. She's equally comfortable being all posh & then being normal & chill & fun... I loved her with James Mcavoy in Atonement which is heartbreaking but the press was hysterical!!! Thanks to these 2!! Keira is fun, smart & not like a typical HW starlet.


I begun disliking Watson more when I watched her on the Ellen show when Jason Bateman was congratulating her for Brown & making fun of himself she was looking at him like he was some insect on he floor & like she couldn't wait to get out of there... Initially I thought I was being unfair but the tone worsened & I realised she will probs always be a smug, over-privileged bloody brat. Even if you're unwell, bored etc... Why make it so obvious esp when everyone around you is being super-nice! She's like this in many ivs. But I believe she's lovely one on one but I've never ever liked her.


Plus she has ZERO charm, charisma or appeal. Apart from being the lead for HP she looks & behaves dead. She has a pretty wild reputation for men for being so prissy... Always dates men much much older to her but I bet they tire of Her Highness Watson pretty quickly... She comes across an insecure, needy control freak.
