Part 14
Toshiji came out of Raman's room crying on her sons condition. she went to her room and was crying when Mr bhalla woke .He asked the reason for her crying .
T- bhalla ji I m very bad mother .I had given punishment of romi's deed to raman .Bhallaji my puttar is in so much pain .please do something I can't see him in somuch pain .
Mr bhalla - what happened toshiji ,you suddenly.
Toshiji narrated the whole incident to Raman's room.Mr bhalla got angry on her while toshiji was still crying .
Mr bhalla ( angrily )- this all is happening because of you .you didn't felt necessary to talk to me before taking such a drastic step .Now see neither he nor us nor that girl,nobody is happy but everyone is in so much pain.
T- bhalla ji done with your scolding now do something .My son was crying like a small kid .
Mr bhalla - ok now sleep ,from tomorrow I will try to search for ishita.
Both laid down to sleep but sleep was far away from each eyes ,raman was not able to sleep because of separation from ishita ,toshiji was being guity of her deeds ,Mr bhalla was thinking of the ways to search ishita.
28 days ago in chennei .
Ishita reached her house .Her parents where more than happy to see ishita after six months.Ishita was trying her level best to pretend happily but it was not happening .Her mother saw her red and puffy eyes ,she cupped ishitas face and asked lovingly " ishu kanna is everything all right ,you are here all of a sudden."
I-( hiding her tears )- can't I come to meet my parents .
M- why not but you are not looking ok .
I- Amma ,appa I left that job.
A ( shocked )- why .
I- just like that ,I want to establish my carrier here .
A - ok as you wish .
No one asked any question further but it was also true that they were never convinced with her answer .Amma ,appa ,bala and vandu (ishitas brother and SIL) were worried about her as she has became silent .The old jolly ,chirpy and happy ishita was lost.she always use to be in her room ,never talk to anybody more than required ,eat only diet food .One day all of them decided that vandu should go and talk to her as she is like sister to ishita .vandu went to ishita and tried to talk .
V- ishu ,I know there's some problem .please tell me what happened there .
I( with teary eyes )- bhabhi ,I loved him truly but his mother think that I love him for money .
V- who kanna .
Ishita narrated eveything to her ,vandu was also in tears listening to her but she anyhow composes herself and spoke " but ishu if you had taken a decision to.leave him you should also learn to live ".
I- that's the sin I m doing ,I left him ,betrayed him then also I m living.
V- are you mad ishita ,you have taken your own decision to leave him then you are telling this
I( almost shouting )- I didn't leave him ,his mother forced me .bhabhi he is not in a good state ,he is calling me and I m ,I m so bad that I can't reach him though I know he is crying for me.
Vandu cannot do anything but hugged her tight.ishita cried her heart aloud as she was hiding her pain inside from many days .vandu came out and narrated everything to family members .Bala got angry ,his palm curled in a fist and he spoke gritting his teeth in anger
" how dare she think such low for my sister.appa I m going to Mumbai ,I will teach them a good lesson."
V- no bala that's not important ,now ishu needs our love and support more then anything.they are rich people they can speak anything but we have to think about ishita and support her.
All thought that she is right ,they all tried their own way to cheer ishita but her condition was not improving .Then bala thought that he should see some job for ishita and once she will be busy in job slowly ishita will able to forget evetything but seems ishita has just dissolved herself in raman and was not trying to come out from his memory.
Near about twenty days after coming from Mumbai one day amma and vandu noticed that ishita was throwing everything in anger was hurting herself and was crying loudly .They ran to her and saw ishita crying bitterly sitting on the floor folding her legs upto her chest .vandu went to ishita and asked cupping her face
" ishu kanna what happened why are you crying and throwing everything ."
I( crying aloud )- bhabhi ,i crossed my limits ,took care of myself then also ( showing a pregnancy kit) see I m not pregnant .
Listening to it amma slapped her hard and spoke " I m ashamed of you ishu ,you did such a shameful thing and announcing it as you had done a great job .I never thought that you will stoop such low ,did you ever think about your Anna and bhai,what will they think ,how will they walk in society lowering their eyes."
I( with straight face )- only one slap amma ,just slap me numerous times I m good for nothing ,first you people send me for job ,i failed you and fell in love ,he loves me beyond limits but I left him also and now ,(throwing the kit ) now I not even can conceive to get a reason to live.I m not good ,I hurt everyone ,just slap me amma ,slap me .
Saying so she cried a loud again .
A( making a disgusting face)- murugan what has that boy done to my daughter,he used her and now had left her ,its good she is not pregnant.
I( pleading )- amma please don't say anything to my raman ,he didn't do anything but I asked him.He is innocent ,he even don't know why I did that .
I( murmuring )- I m not pregnant now how will I leave my rest of life without my raman .
Mumuring this she lost her senses as she was having cuts in her hands as she was throwing things .
After that day ,she become almost a dead body ,only breathing and eating to live .she spend all her day sitting near the window waiting for him as she has full trust on her raman that someday he will surely find her and will come to take her along with him.
Sunte hain jab pyar ho to diye jal uthtein hai .
Tan mein man mein aur nayan mein diye JAL uthtein hai .
Aaja piya ,aaja tere hi tere liye
Jalte diye .
Aaja piya aaja tere liye jalte diye.
Near about 10 days passed ishitas condition became bad and then worst .she has stopped talking to every body and also eat only to survive .
Looking to her bad state vandu went to ishita and spoke " ishita why you are doing this to yourself and us.Atleast think about amma and appa."
I- i m trying to think about them bhabhi but the guilt that i had betrayed raman and he is in pain because of me is eating me from inside .The condition was between me and his mother but my raman is victim.how can I live happily when I know his still his days starts with me and his night ends with me .
V- ishita kanna think for once how things will work like this .you are not going to him ,he is not coming to you ,you are not letting anyone to go and talk with them ,he is not able to live without you ,you are not ready to live without him what's this .Think for once kanna you people cannot spend whole life like this na.
I( under her breath )- jeena hi kaun chahta hai
( who wants to live)
V( scolding )- what did you say ,ishu you have became mad ,you are thinking about them only not about us .do you have ever thought amma appa and your Anna are going through which pain .
I-( crying like anything) what should I do ,I m trying bhabhi but its not happening .i can't live without him .
V- so what do you want ,should appa or bala go and talk to them once .
I-( with teary eyes) but if they didnot agree.if she will insult them then .
V(cupping ishit's face )- let them try for once kanna ,they will tolerate her bad words for you.After that we will see what to do ,just give me his address .
I- but if his mother say that at first I go away by myself then send my appa to talk .if she think that I m an opportunist.
V- ( angrily)- let her think ,if she never thought before insulting you why are you thinking about her .
I- but ...
V- no if ,no but just gove me his address ,tommorrow either appa or baka with go to them.
I- bhabhi i don't want them to be insulted .
V- you just give me his address ,appa and bala are smart enough to talk to them.
Ishita gave the address with mixed emoitions ,hope ,fear sadness and all.
Vandu went to them and gave the address and told appa to visit bhallas .
In Mumbai .
Three days have passed Mr bhalla had trief his means but cannot got a trace of ishita as she has removed all her address from everywhere and also no one knows much about her and her family as she was new employee moreover she didn't talk to anyone much as she was with raman all the time ,from the time she enter the office till they see her in office .
Mr bhalla was sitting in couch reading newspaper when toshiji come and asked
" bhalla ji had you got ishitas address ".
Mr bhalla - not yet .
T- then also you are sitting so relaxed go and search her ,i want her with my puttar.
Mr bhalla - toshiji you are sounding so selfish .
T- actually you are right bhalla ji i m not only sounding but behaving like selfish ,but what can i do ,i thought that i will loose my raman also like romi ,thats why i did this but never thought that a girl or a boy can love eachother somuch .you know bhalla ji i m feeling so low in front of their love .i just pray that some miracke happen and ishita would appear from somewhere and i can beg for her forgiveness. Hey matarani please show some hope.
They were still talking when a help entered the place and informed that a person has come to meet them.Mr bhalla waved his hand signalling bring him in.
After a while Mr iyer entered .
Mr iyer - hello mr bhalla I m Mr viswanathan iyer .
Mr bhall( confused )- had we met before .
Mr iyer - nope ,but our meeting was much needed .
Mr bhalla - how may I help you .
Mr iyer - I m ishitas father .
Listening to ishitas name,toshiji almost jumped between the men's conversation and asked quickly " had you brought ishita also."
Mr iyer - no why should I bring her ,so that you can get one more chance to insult her .
Mr bhalla - iyer sahab ,listen to me .its good that you come we were indeed searching for ishita .
Mr iyer saw them with confused look ,looking to this Mr bhalla started talking again to clear the air.
Mr bhalla - actually iyer sahab I know you must be angry on us for our behavior with ishita but now we are so sorry for that .Please call ishita now we had understood that their love .Raman is in very bad state .please call ishita as we don't want to be a reason for their saperation anymore .
Mr iyer - Actually Bhallaji I had also come for same reason ,ishita is also in a vulnerable state.she has even quit eating also .
Mr bhalla - then please don't waste time just call her immediately.
They talk for some more time ,all the time toshiji and Mr bhalla were pleading Mr iyer to call ishita asap .Mr iyer called bala and told them to come with everybody.
Bala arranged tickets for next available flight and flew for Mumbai with ishita ,vandu and amma .
Next day iyers went to bhallas .Raman was in his room when iyers arrived .Everybody was introducing and were trying to start their talks but ishita ignoring everyone walked directly to her /his room.she entered the room and saw raman was sitting in couch resting his head closing his eyes ,he was keeping his legs on the table .ishita walked to him ,sat slowly beside him and started massaging his forehead slowly .
R- ( absentmindedly)- thanks ishita .
After a while raman realised that what is happening ,he immediately opened his eyes and saw ishita sitting beside him .He tried to touch her ,then pulled back his hand thinkinh he is hallucinating, but ishita forwarded her hands ,touched his cheeks and asked conceded
" how r u ".
Raman realised that he is not hallucinating but she is really suiting beside him .He immediately pulled her to him ,sat her in his lap ,she caressing his cheeks and wounded her arms around his neck and hugged him tight ,he bend and hide his head in her neckline .Both hugged each other tight and cried their heart loudly.
Aashiyaana mera saath tere hai na
Doodhte tera gali mujhko ghar mila

Dhundte tera khuda mujhko ran mila
Tu Jo mila ho gaya main kaabil
