OS: Celibacy
(Pragya is changing in the closet. Abhi is in the room, sitting on the sofa, thinking about Sarla Maa who has gained consciousness but lost memory, Aaliyah's unexpected arrival and everything else. He feels headache with confusions and uncertainties. Just then Tannu walks in wanting to apologize to Abhi since he was mad at her few days ago, for bringing up marriage while Sarla Maa was fighting for her life).
Tannu: Abhi, are you okay? Do you have a headache?
Abhi: I am fine. Just leave me alone.
Tannu: Abhi, I am sorry. I should not have talked to you about marriage.
Abhi: I said leave me alone, Tannu.
Tannu: (Sits besides him) Abhi, I was just worried about my mother, this baby and everything. You know me, I just freak out at times (puts her hand on his trying to lock her fingers with his).
Abhi: (Moves his hand away and looks away).
Tannu: (Moves closer, lays her head on his shoulder, rubs his arm) Abhi, I will not give you worries anymore. I think we just need to spend some time together and relax.
Abhi: Tannu, how many times do I tell you? Just leave me alone (stands up).
(Pragya is done with her changing and has been listening to TaBhi conversation. She is not sure if she should come out or not. She does not want to see Tannu all over Abhi nor does she want to let Tannu do what she is doing).
Tannu: Abhi, don't move away like this. You need to rewind. You remember how you used to come to me in your busy schedule and feel relaxed? We just need to go back to that (stands up and puts her arms around his neck).
Abhi: Tannu nothing remains the same anymore. Just don't try anything and leave before I get angry.
Tannu: Why can't it be like it was before, Abhi? You always liked this, didn't you? (Tries to kiss his neck).
Abhi: (Pushes her away forcefully and frees himself from her hold) Tannu, ENOUGH. Don't you dare to touch me again like this!!
(Pragya walks out of the closet hearing Abhi shout but Tannu or Abhi do not notice her).
Tannu: What do you mean by that, Abhi? I am your fiancee.
Abhi: I am just marrying you for the baby. Don't try all this nonsense ever again.
Tannu: Nonsense? What do you mean? We are getting married. Are you going to push me off every time?
Abhi: Yes, I WILL. You better understand it now itself. I am just marrying you for the baby. I am SO done with all this nonsense. Just get the hell out of here.
Tannu: ABHI! You can't do this to me. We will be husband wife and this kind of relationship has to be there between us.
Abhi: You don't get it, do you? I said NO and NEVER. If you want to hear more clearly, hear this. I will NOT sleep with you EVER. Enough of me sleeping with you while drunk that night. It has turned my life upside down. I WILL NEVER SLEEP WITH YOU OR ANY WOMAN EVER AGAIN.
Tannu: What are you even talking about? You will remain celibate from now on?
Abhi: Yes, exactly. I will not sleep with you or anyone else. I swear to my guitar I will not sleep with anyone, no matter what. I will remain celibate all my life. Now just get lost form here (grabs Tannu's arm and takes her out of the room. Tannu leaves in distress and Daadi is watching from the side. Abhi also leaves the room and Daadi moves aside so that Abhi does not notice her).
Daadi: Pragya, are you here? What is going on? (Daadi goes inside Abhi's room).
Pragya: I am here only, Daadi.
Daadi: Did you hear all that?
Pragya: I did. Daadi, that Tannu was trying to force herself on him, and he declared he will remain celibate.. not just with Tannu..but with...
Daadi: I heard all that.
Pragya: Daadi, nothing is working out the way we want. Everything is going wrong. Now he wants to be celibate all his life.
Daadi: It means...
