Devyana, AKA Megha Gupta has picked up a new show, where she plays the main girl due to which she wasnt available for CID.. isnt that great news !! now we'll see her in 2 shows !!

Yeah she was originally in Kumkum, but the heads at Balaji did some weird second generation revamping, and for some bizzare reason replaced everyone including Megha, so she isn't in Kumkum anymore

"Megha Gupta, who played Niti was not happy with her character going negative and she grabbed a meaty role in CID. She says, "Not that I am apprehensive about playing a negative role but I told them that they should consider replacing me. The replacement would work in their favor and help all of us." She is currently working in CID and has been replaced by Ira Soni."
