Got this silly idea.. and started to write.🤪

Kalpana and her mother were discussing something very very serious..

"Heading for a vacation with our friends. What else can go wrong?" Kalpi said, while laughing.

"Everything could go wrong " Kamla answered, sternly. She grabbed Kalpi's arm and tied a taveez around it.

"Jeez mom, so cheesy," Kalpana replied, rolling her eyes. "Fact is that you just don't want me to go!"

"Haan!" Haan, haan, haan. Her voice echoed from the walls of the house in a very filmy style. "I don't want you to goo! You are my gal!"

"Okay mom, enough of that. At least give me a hug na.."

Kamla's eyes were tearful as she embraced her daughter. "Be back soon Kalpana. Be back."

"See ya!"

...

"Kalpi, we are giving these guys one more chance. After this if they break our heart, then we will tell our mums to find us a guy of their choice." Paakhi said all this with a pained look on her face.

"Yaar chill, now you're making me cry," Maya said. She was sitting on the bed her legs swinging back and forth."

"I agree with Paakhi, there is a limit to how much we will suffer," Kalpi said, supporting her friend.

"So last week the guys deem it appropriate to entertain the guests at the party by announcing a serial killer being in our mansion. No one believed them at first, we weren't dumb. But then we had to give in. They wrecked the mood of the party with that prank."

Maya nodded at Kalpi. "That wasn't even funny. I'm sure it was Prem's idea. He's always behaving like a secret detective." "If they don't stop behaving childish, our mothers won't let us marry them. And honestly.. I couldn't blame her."

"And Raghav, he was supposed to be the wise one. Where was his maturity when he was just standing around listening to Samar and Prem's plans?"

"He wasn't just standing around!" Maya and Paakhi yelled at Paakhi, once again for the second time that day.

Kalpi avoided their eyes. "Okay, he did freak everyone out by that silly pirate outfit of his."

"you know, he freaked everyone out just a little bit," Paakhi said, sarcastically. "He was basically the main leader that day."

Kalpana felt an uncomfortable feeling. She didn't like discussing about Raghav behind his back.

Kalpana plugged her ears with her fingers. "uh, uh, you too are teaming up on me again. Come see me when you drop it." With that, she walked out of the room.

"Where did she go?" Paakhi asked innocently.

Maya smiled. "Most probably to see Raghav."

Paakhi looked surprised. "And what is so good about that?"

Maya shushed her with her finger. "That Raghav deems himself so cool. We won't let him get away with what he and his friends did last time. Kalpana is too soft, but we're not so merciful."

"So what are you gonna do?" Paakhi inquired.

"We are going to teach the guys a lesson.."

...

Raghav adjusted the collar of his bright red shirt. It was Kalpi's favorite color. He was whistling to himself, when he heard a voice.

He turned around to find Prem and Samar settled on his bed.

"What now?" he asked them.

"A prank," Prem said laughing. Samar grinned.

"Not again guys.." Raghav crossed his eyes at them. "I think we've done enough of those."

"No yaar, this one's good."

"That's what you said last time," Raghav reminded them.

"Just listen," Samar said impatiently. "This one's to test their love for us."

...

They all sat down in front of the television that evening. The boys flashed smiles at the girls, who just glared at them.

"Tell us what you've got," Maya said.

"Well, we've just got a mini surprise for you guys. After all, we have to make this trip memorable!" Prem said, brightly.

"You probably shouldn't be talking Prem, they'll get suspicious," Raghav whispered to Prem.

"Okay, so what we're gonna do is put blindfolds on all of us. We just gotta see if we find each other or not."

"That is such a silly idea!" Paakhi complained. Maya held up a hand and smiled. "I think it's a wonderful idea. What say Kalpi?"

Kalpana looked at Raghav uncertainly. He nodded his head at her. "Okay," she said, going with the flow.

"Of course, of course," Maya said, looking from Raghav to Kalpi. "Anyway.. let's start!"

The guys were surprised that Maya had taken charge of their idea but decided to follow along.

"We will all spread out around the house!" Maya announced.

"Exactly!" the guys yelled, putting their arms up in the air and doing their mini-dance.

The girls looked at them suspiciously. "Okay, let's get started!"

Maya told everyoned to go hide in a random part of the house, then put on their blind fold. She also made it out to be that she was putting on her blind fold, but once everyone was out of sight she lifted hers.

"I have to stay back and teach the guys a lesson!"

She picked up the mega-speaker the guys had brought along. She cleared her throat. "You guys have ten seconds to spread apart! I'll go hide as well. Then it is time for us to find our partners!"

Then she smiled to herself and wandered around waiting for one of the guys to show up.

Meanwhile, all the guys were huddled up in a corner of the house. "Remember the plan! Spread apart!" Raghav ordered them, as they all took different paths.

Maya just sat down on the couch waiting for one of them to show up. Eventually, Kalpi came around calling out Raghav's name.

"Ha!" Maya said. "You can't yell out Raghav Raghav! Or this game will be obviously easy!"

"Sorry! But what are you doing, man? Go find Prem!"

"Yeah yeah, that's what I am doing," Maya said, mustering an innocent voice. "You go on!"

Maya got up and was gonna go look for them, when someone caught ahold of her arm.

"Kalpi," Raghav said, grinning. "See, I found you." Maya's face went bright red and she went away, while clearing her throat.

Kalpi who was just a distance away, heard that and frowned.

"Raghav!! How could you mistake her for me?! I will make sure you never find me now!" With that she stomped off somewhere, almost managing to smack against a pillar.

"Aw no!!" Raghav said, smacking his face with his hand. "how dumb am I?"

Maya took out a memory loss spray bottle that she had once bought for a cheap price.

"Let's see if it works! This will teach the guys a lesson and possibly mold them for the better."

She sprayed it all over the mansion and then she covered her own face with a cloth.

When she realized that she better warn the girls, it was practically too late.

That's when she saw Samar heading her way. ugh, he's gonna make Paakhi upset if he thinks I am her' Maya tiptoed across somewhere else.

Then she heard a loud thud. She rushed over to the poolside area and saw that Prem lay on his back next to the pool. There was water all over the floor. Her eyes widened and she attempted to help him, but ended up slipping as well.

She let out a yelp, but then got back up and untied Prem's blindfold. "You okay?" she asked, concernedly.

For a moment she forgot about everything as she stared into Prem's innocent eyes, which were staring back up at her.

"Who are you?!" he finally, exclaimed pushing Maya away from himself.

"Prem-" Maya remembered her memory spray and shuddered.

The effect is supposed to wear off after a while.. for the time being I shoud make the best out of this situation.'

She smiled at him. "Prem, it's me. Maya."

"And?" he asked, confusedly.

~

If this was the state here, then there was another situation elsewhere.

Samar also seemed to have gotten an amnesia attack as he fell in the restroom. Thank God Paakhi got there in time or else things could've gotten worse. Samar immediately got on Paakhi's good side. "I don't.. uh, remember anything.. but you seem decent. So I trust you."

Paakhi smiled at him. "Alright Samar, let's have you rest for a while."

Meanwhile, Raghav was wandering around for a while before he realized that no one was around. He pulled off his blindfold.

Then he accidentally stumbled upon something and shrieked. "Kalpi!"

But he didn't hear her reply and he got back up. "Kalpi?" he wondered.

He got back to the living room to find Paakhi and Maya tending to the guys. Maya avoided looking at Paakhi and the others as she remembered her memory loss spray. She pressed her lips together nervously.

"Uggh, I don't remember a thing!" Prem complained, from the couch.

"Me neither, and my head hurts," Samar overreacted.

"Have either of you guys seen Kalpi?" Raghav asked the ladies. They shook their heads, looking sullen. The evening had not turned out as planned.

"She's probably still roaming around, I'll go check for her."

Precap: Raghav pulls the guys aside. "Enough overreacting. This memory loss drama is just too much."
