Twinj the journey so far

I had some free time on my hand so thought to do this. I remember watching Tashan e ishq for the first time. I started watching from the engagement episode. I remember watching Kunj wiping her tears and I was like girl why are you so sad that guy is so hot. Then we see yuvi manhandling her and then Kunj walks in and I loved Kunj and his one liners anakon main gussa dimak main busa and Twinkle is lamenting about Yuvi. Where Kunj comments that he has never seen her happy with Yuvi and the engagement is fake anyway. From the get go I felt this spark between Twinj that was missing from Yuvle. You never know when two people are going to get on screen and hit it off and Twinj did. From the first scene the way Kunj holds her when she falls tells you that Kunj will be her savior always. He saves her repeatedly from Yuvi not because he has feeling for her but he is shown to be that kind of a person who has a lot of values and morals. Kunj is your dream guy he is family oriented, decent, good looking and understanding and most of all he respects women a lot. He hardly raises his voices he is very calm and well put together. Twinkle on the other hand is bold, vivacious and animated. She is impulsive and often leaps before thinking. She has only known Yuvi so she believes every boy is like him so she excuses his behavious she even tells Yuvi that you are the only boy I know. Then Kunj walks in and she realizes that there are decent guys too. Guys who respect you who are not shallow and bothered by oily hair getting on their car seat, who instead of planning exotic and wild dates tend to plan a simple and cute one. Who don't care if they know swimming or not but will jump in to save you from drowning. Who don't even care if you call them early morning and ask them to steal from their own parents. Kunj gives her a new perspective on guys and frankly Twinkle is mesmerized. Twinkle was lucky that Kunj was so good this gave her the confidence to reject Yuvi. Even after the farm house incident she trusted Kunj with her soul. Pre marriage they are more than just friends who clearly have feelings for other people but have a mutual understanding between themselves. After marriage they become really good friends. Kunj grounds her and provides her support whenever she is low and she is also always there for him. He first protects her out of duty but slowly and gradually they start seeing each other in a different light. They start relying on each other when one of them is not their the other misses their presence. The crave each other's company they are a team and solve problems together. They have now surpassed the friendship stage they are not something more. There was a lot of unresolved sexual tension between them in the rain scene. Twinkle has become really important for Kunj. He even said so that you are not understanding your importance for me. He even indirectly claimed he is in love with her and homeboy so wanted to kiss her you could see the disappointment on his face.

fan girl I love how r post covered the relation ship twinj had and now have.. you covered valid points of their personalities and how the comparison between the 2 men took time to sink in. The reason I loved this show was they took their time building on their relation ship and addressed issues of friendship being as important in a marriage as trust and care for each other. Love comes slowly and in a subdued manner unlike the loud first crush love she had for yuvi.

Twinj now are ready to move ahead and yes Kunj looked so disappointed that she did not give him reason to kiss her... But the fact he put it out there gives her reason to expect their relationship to move ahead.
