Panradhaiyum pannittu pasta Vera 😆 . There are certain lines of Mr. Iyer where I just automatically or let's say I have to visualize it with prakash raj 😃 . It kind of adds to the humor more and now alongside is also kajal's I'm not amused pic that's gets tagged along to this imagery

Prakash raj just fits in, appa not only has that serious imagery but that comic element too and nobody does it better than Prakash raj and that image ofcourse 😆 😆

Parental intuition

Monday when Manya returned from Meerut with Makarand, Sam invited the family for dinner

Appa and Amma visited II at MM. Sunday, May 8th evening. Baby was exactly three weeks today
Thats when Ranjan told Appa, not that it would have taken Appa too long to realize

II looked great, showered, wearing a pair of blue jeans and a Lacoste tee
Hair braided and and nose ring in place

Amma smiled joyously

"Cant believe u have a child" "U look like u did when u passed college"Amma said fondly

II smiled weakly, sitting down by Appa

Appa held the baby
The nanny was back on duty starting Sunday

R&B was taking a call, or he pretended to when II and the nanny, Sofia's cousin Jenny helped II with the bath

There was a unmistakable quiet feel to the house
Ranjan was not his loud Punjabi self
He loved Appa even though Appa didnt reciprocate
Today he looked preoccupied and somber
Almost as if he wanted to go against Sam and R&B's wishes and ask Amma Appa to take II with them, back to D II

The house though, functioned like a well oiled machine
Clean, tidy, and beautiful

Mahavir brought cart after cart of snacks

"Amma is hosting a Sharada prayer at Malai Mandir, next Friday... come over the night before or the week before"

II nodded

"Are u tired kanna?" Amma asked

"No ma I sleep if she is asleep"

Amma thought that was a lil odd

II had seen Akka being eager to step out of the house go to Sector 1 market, or even go to the Mother Dairy booth, or even go to the press wala or go over to the living room and watch her fave soaps
Tell Appa's neighbors to send over suit material hawkers and other state specific hawkers that knocked on RK Puram doors during summer afternoons

"She s so busy and active... a very responsive child" Appa declared with pride

Ranjan laughed "Yes yes... she knows where R&B is and she follows him with her gaze"

"U must have logged on already to work no?" Amma scoffed

"NO" Ii said startled not realized it was totally out of character, that was another clue for Amma

"Janaki Athai is coming tomorrow, shes been aching to see the baby, vaayen di?" (come on over no?)

"I will try ma" II said slinking back into the chair

"Dont bother her let her get rest no" Appa scolded Amma

"I am not calling her for washing clothes or changing lining on kitchen shelf, only to see Akka (Janaki Athai)" Amma was a lil hurt

"Le jaayen Mrs Iyer zaroor" Ranjan said warmly

"Haan lekin har ghante phone par uski awaaz jaroor sunayen hamein" he chuckled

"U never make us listen to her" Appa argued chilidhsly

"Chaliye jee aaj se suna dete hain?" Ranjan promised smiling harmlessly

"Gudiya, hoye aao beta" Ranjan coaxed

II nodded

The baby squirmed

II asked R&B if he wanted to hold her

Ranjan sighed and leaned back

"She needs to be fed right?" R&B pointed gently

When II picked her up and walked to one of the empty rooms in the ground floor
