I know the likes of ManMohan Desai, Subhash Ghai, Anurag K, Aushutosh Gewarekar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and many others are left out.
Anyways let the voting begin, my two fab are Hrishikesh Mukherjee, his movies were gold. Than there is Guru Dutt absolute genius shame he died so early.
