It was 9 am in the morning and suddenly the doorbell rang and Leela Taneja walked in with a assortment of gifts for Twinkle.
"Mom app yaha itni subah" Twinkle greeted her mother
"Hah meri beti ka bday hain main kaisay nahi ahati" Leela said
"Mom itnay sarah gufts ki kya zarorat thi?" Twinkle asked
"Sab tumhari zarorat ki cheezay hain. Aur waisay bhi tumhara husband iitna afford nahi kar sakta" Leela said
Kunj who had just come out of the room heard their conversation he was waiting for Twinkle's reply.
"Mom meray paas sab kuch hain aur agar na hua toh I can ask my husband" Twinkle said
Kunj smiled hearing her response. Twinkle's mother had not been happy about their marriage from the start as according to her Kunj was not rich enough for Twinkle. She wanted her daughter to enjoy the same lifestyle that she had provided her daughter with. However Kunj's finances did not allow him to spend lavishly. Twinkle never complained though and Kunj was grateful for that.
"Mummy ji app kab ahai?" Kunj said faking his excitement
"Bas abhi aur batao kia chal raha hain. Kal tum log kahi bhair gaye thay ? Leela said
Gaye thay na Mom hum freedy's gaye thay bahut acha restaurant tha aur khana to bahot mazay ka tha Twinkle said
Toh you guys didn't fight wow that's amazing
"Fight main aur Twinkle nahi Mummy ji kal toh hum na bahot acha time spend kia aik saath kyun Twinkle" Kunj said and rested his forehead on her forehead
"Kunj theek keh raha hain Mom"
"Acha main chalti hun call karun gi tumhay" Leela said and left
"Mom kay samanay izzat rakna ka shukriya" Twinkle said
"Kal hum nay waqay he acha time spent kia tha" Kunj said
"Uff tum dono bahot cute ho aoa abhi tum logo kin azar utar thi hu" Nikki said and tried to do their arti from the thaali. Just then the thaali fell from Nikki's hand.
"Oh ho yeh bilkul acha nahi hua" Nikki said
"Thaali he toh giri hain iss main itni bade baat kia hain" Kunj said
"Kunj yeh bahot bada upshagun hota hain. Hope ajj kuch buda na ho" Nikki said
"Nahi hoga don't worry bhabi" Kunj reassured her
After having breakfast both Kunj and Twinkle went out again to celebrate her birthday. They first went to their college.
"Twinkle yaad hain 6 saal pehlay hum yaha milay thay" He said
"Hah I spilled coffee on your shirt"
"Aur tab she lay kar abb tak tum single handily washing powder walaon ka business badha rahi ho. God knows tum meray kitnay kapray kharab kar chuki ho" Kunj teased her
"Shut up Kunj" Twinkle said
After visiting their college they went to the beach where they celebrated their first date.
"Yaad hain tum kitna late ahay thi" Kunj chuckled
"Larkiyan hamesha late ahati hain"
"Oh please abb mujahy yeh Twinkle logic mat do" Kunj said
"Waisay uss din hum nay ktini achi paani puri khai thi ajj phir khayay please Kunj"
"Sure whatever you say" Kunj smiled at her
Just then Twinkle noticed a little girl crying as some older girls were bullying her she rushed to help the girl. She bought her balloons from a nearby vendor. Kunj looked at her from a distance he knew why she was doing this. He rushed to her when he saw tears in her eyes.
"It has been 6 months Twinkle you have to move on" He said while hugging her
"What if I don't want to?" She asked in between sobs
"Twinkle, please I am tired of trying to make things better. You need to try too. Yaar please ajj kay din toh nahi tumhay uss hadsay ko bhulna hoga" Kunj said
"Kunj tum tini asani say bhul saktay ho main nahi. How can you be so chill about everything? It's like that incident didn't bother you at all"
"Seriously Twinkle you think that that thing didn't bother me at all. The fact that I am smiling and cracking jokes does not mean I don't care. Dammit Twinkle that was my child too" Kunj said angrily
"It was our child and how come it's loss doesn't bother you that much" Twinkle said
"It does but if I grief nobody else gets to especially you. I can't be weak like you someone has to be strong for you but Twinkle I can't see you like this" Kunj caressed her face
"Kunj I am tired can you please drop me at my Mom's place"
"Har baat main tumhari mom kaha say beech main aha jati hain" Kunj said
"Tumhay meri mom say kia problem hain" Twinkle asked
"Mujhay nahi par unhay humray rishaty say problem hain"
"Kunj please I am tired of fighting" Twinkle said
"Phir khatam kartay hain na. Tum decide karlo humary rishatay kay baray main because I am tired too" Kunj said
"Tum aisay kesay kesa keh saktay ho Kunj humray rishaty kay baray main itni bade baat tum nay itni asani she kardi main apnay ghar ja rahi hu"
"Twinkle ruko I will drop you" Kunj ran after her but she hailed a taxi and left. This was their fourth major fight ever since that incident.
Kunj drove back to his house. He banged the dooer while entering and avoided his family and went to his room. A few minutes later Nikki Bhabi came into the room.
"Bhabi please ajj nahi abb app mujh say yay mat kehna kay may Twinkle ko mana kar ghar lay ahaun"
"Main toh yeh kehnay nahi ahai thi acha hua kyun kay Twinkle to tumsay pyar he nahi karti" Niki bhabi said
"Bhabhi yay app kya keh rahi hain"
"Who hi keh rahi hu jo tum soch rahay thay she doesn't love you. Who toh bas aisay he apnay itna bada ghar, apnay sapnay aur apni badi badi ghari chod kar tumhary saath humaray iss chotay say ghar main rehnay lagi aur humari family car main travel karnay lagi" Nikki bhabi said
"Main bahut bada idiot hun abhi ussay lay kar ahata hun"
Niki bhabi smiled these two would be the death of her. On the other side Twinkle was crying and narrating all that had happened to her mother.
"Bas puttar ab khatam kardo sab kuch inn papers par sign karkay" Leela handed her the divorce papers
"Mom divorce isn't that too drastic?"
"Jab tum logo kay relationship may itni problem hain toh rishta raknay ki zarorat nahi" Leela said and left the room.
Twinkle was lost her thoughts when she got Kunj's message.
Kunj: I am really sorry. I am coming to pick you up I love you.
She smiled while reading the message she quickly wrote her reply
Twinkle: I am waiting and I love you too <3
She quickly went downstairs Kunj would be arriving any minute. She raced past her mother.
"Twinkle puttar kidar jar ahi ho"Leela asked
"Maa Kunj lenay aha raha okay bye"
"Iss larki ko samaj kyun nahi ahati kay woh Kunj bilkul bhi acha larka nahi hain" Leela mused to herself.
She saw Kunj car and quickly sat in the car.
"Kunj chalo"
"Par twinkle tumhari mom say mil lu aik baar" Kunj said
"Chalo"
"Acha baba" He started the car
Twinkle hit on his shoulder.
"Kia kar rahi hhain tu Twinkle" He asked
"Yeh woh stupid baat bolnay kay liay Kunj Sarna"
"Acha sorry siypa queen"
She again hit him
"Tum nay mujay siypa queen kaha abi batati hu" Twinkle said
"Mrs Twinkle Kunj Sarna apnay pati ki jaan lena ka irada hain" He looked at her momentarily taking his eyes of the road
"Kunj I love you"
"I love you too" He smiled at her
"Kunj samnay dekho truck,,," She didn't get a chance to continue as the truck collided with their car. There was a defining roar as the truck jammed into their windshield their car was totally destroyed both Kunj and Twinkle were severely injured. They were rushed to the hospital. There the doctors quickly performed surgery on both of them. Both of them had sustained severe head injury and a few broken bones.
Both their families rushed to the hospital.
"Yay sab app kay manhoos betay ki wajah say hua hain" Leela said
"App chup karay warna ajj main rishaton ka lehaz bhul jaon gi" Nikki said
Just then a young doctor walk in trying to pacify the situation.
"Leela aunty app" Dr Yuvi said
"Yuvi beta tum Twinkle kesi hain?" Leela asked
"Dono Kunj aur Twinkle abb khatray say bhair hain app log please shant hojay yay hospital hain circus nahi" Yuvi said
Soon Kunj and Twinkle regained consciousness. However they could not remember anything.
Yuvi had conducted their checkup trying to figure out if both of them could remember each other but they had forgotten everything before the accident. They would both flinch if he mentioned their names to each other. Twinkle heard Kunj's name and started complaining about a headache. Kunj fainted near Twinkle's room. Yuvi decided to inform both their families.
"Both of them are suffering from retro grade amnesia they have forgotten everything. They are in a very delicate state right now but they must be kept away from each other"
Woh kyun?" Nikki asked
"When you mention their name to either of them it triggers something in their brain which causes pain they need to be kept apart especially during recovery period"
"Main toh pehlay hi janti thi kay woh larka aik ahazab hain meri bachi kay liay"
"Maa chup karay kesi baatien kar rahi hain app jiju kay baray main" Mahi who had just arrived said
"We will discharge them tomorrow you guys should go home" Yuvi instructed
All of them except Mahi left the hospital. Niiki opened Kunj's room and removed all of Twinkle's pictures. She was crying while doing so. Anand saw her crying and rushed in to console her.
"Anand kia hogaya in dono kay saath" Nikki said
"Sambalon khud ko Nikki"
"Anand nazar lag gayi Kunj aur Twinkle ko aur who Leela Taneja ko toh mauka mil gaya hain in ko juda karnay ka" Nikki said
"Sab thhek ho jayay ga" Anand tried to calm her down
On the other side Leela was burning all off Kunj's and Twinkle's photos. Unknown to her Mahi had already saved an album.
"Leela yeh pagal pan hain tum Twinkle kay saath aisa nahi karsaktay" RT said
"Main uss larkay ka naam mita dun gi Twinkle ki zindagi say. This will be a new start for her" Leela said with a lot of conviction.
The next day Kunj and Twinkle were discharged from the hospital. They were walking in the opposite direction in the corridor. When their hands brushed each other before they could look at each other their families quickly ushered them away.
So another moment of impact had changed everything in their lives.
