The actor will play a parallel negative role in Sarojini

Mohit Sehgal who is back from a break after his much talked about romantic beach wedding with ladylove Sanaya Irani has a challenging task before him in Sarojini. Known for his disarming smile, Mohit has impressed the viewers as the carefree, young boy from the rural interiors of UP"Somendra" who relentlessly supports his righteous wife Sarojini. In a twist of sorts, the actor will now be seen in an exciting and dark double role of a goon, Munna in the show. Interestingly, this will be the actor's first negative act on television and so the experiment is likely to surprise the audience.

Talking about the same, Mohit says, "It is my first attempt at essaying a negative character. The role will provide me ample scope to showcase varied emotions and that way my fans will get to see me in a new dimension as an actor. So I am really looking forward to it."

Elaborating further the actor adds, "Munna is a street-smart, quick-thinking, impulsive man, who is used like a pawn by Taadka bua, to follow her plans of destroying the house. Munna will appear to be casual and funny but he gets dangerous the moment you rub him the wrong way. To showcase a stark difference between an easy-going Somendra and conniving Munna, I have worked hard on my body language, look and mannerisms. Hope the audience likes this other side of me creating troubles for Sarojini."
