Back with an OS,this time a mini story.
Hope you like it.
The title of the story means Beloved
Saware
Ishita Iyer was a very happy person today. She had got her dream job under her idol Raman Bhalla,the CEO of PSR company.
She was appointed as the deputy finance coordinator of the company.
Today was her 1st day in the office.
Mihir had interviewed her as Raman had gone for a meeting out of town and was very cordial and friendly with her from the 1st meeting itself.
M-Ishitaji...come fast.
Raman bhai will want to meet you,he will get angry if it becomes late.
I-Coming coming sir
M-You can call me Mihir,it's perfectly fine.
I-Ok sir...oops I mean Mihir
You can call me as Di...no worries
As Mihir entered his cabin.
R-Mihir...good you come...I was just gonna
M-Bhai...I want you to meet someone.
As he gestured to look towards the door.
Ishita entered mouthing a silent May I come in sir.
Raman nodded a yes.
As Ishita entered,Raman lost himself in her beauty.She was dressed in a simple corporate suit.Her hair tied in a ponytail.
Mihir's voice brought him back.
M-This is Ms.Ishita Iyer,the new deputy finance coordinator of our company.
I-Good morning sir.
R-Good morning...welcome to our company.
I-Thank you very much.
She was smiling the whole time and Raman was lost in her smile and unknowingly a smile had crept up on his face also.
I-I think I will get to my work now sir.
I will do my best and put in my best efforts to make the company reach new heights.
As she left the cabin,Raman instantly felt a connection with her.
Ishita thought to herself as she left the cabin.
I-How hot can a person look.I am going to have a hard time concentrating on my work if he is going to be present in front of me.
But I am going to do my best and make the company scale new heights.
Thats the end of it.
As the days passed,their friendship increased and Ishita got well into her job.
Ishitaji became Ishita and Sir became Raman.
Ishra had started spending time together outside their office as well.
One evening after attend a late evening meeting,Raman offered to drop her to her home. Ishita hesitantly accepted his request.
They were on the way and were passing on a quiet and lonely road with heavy rains when the car broke down.
The driver went to check the problem and told Raman that he had to go and search for a mechanic as the car refused to start up and he went.
They were sitting on the car and she was fiddling with something in her purse.
Raman noticed it.
She had already removed her blazer.
R-What happened.
I-Nothing,just feeling bored.
Idea...
And she got out from the car.
R-Ishita...ishita
Listen...
And he too got out of the car.
R-Ishita you will fall sick.Come back
As he said in 1 go.
What he saw next filled his heart with pure happiness.
Ishita twirled around and was enjoying the rain She was so lost in it.
In these few months of knowing her,Raman had always seen a sweet professional Ishita and never seen this form of hers.
She was drenched and her shirt was now sticking to her like second skin and making her look all the more alluring.
It had ignited a passion in him,the passion for her
Raman had accepted being attracted to her on 1st sight but shrugged it off as a mere physical one of infatuation but seeing her like this and spending more time with her with the passing days had slowly made him fall for her and today he realised that he had fallen in Love with her.
While on the other side,Ishita who considered him his ideal and slowly developed a great friendship with him.
She too had unknowingly started liking him but was unaware of what to name her feelings.
She was lost in her own world whn she noticed him approaching her.
Now his drenched condition was stirring some unknown desires in her.
He was slowly approaching her and she also started back tracing her steps.
Her back then hit the tree and forced her to stop.
Raman had come very close and was inching more and more closer.
He came and pulled her by her waist and the distance become zero now as both of then drank in each other's features.
They were leaning in closer and then their lips met.
The kiss started out as a gentle one but then deepened.
They parted for breath.
Raman looked at her,she was all red and was not meeting his eyes.
He felt a sense of happiness.
While Ishita couldn't get over what just transpired between them.
She was feeling extremely shy.
He removed his coat and made her wear it.
He said,
R-I don't want you to stay in this condition specially at this time of the night.
He said huskily.
They stood under the tree till the rain subsided.
Till then the driver came back and they went home.
All along the way,they stole glances from one another.
When Ishita's house came,she mouthed a soft Thank You and good night and went without waiting for his reply.
That night,sleep was distant for both of them as the incident played on their mind
Raman thought to himself
R-Ishita...you are the one.I have indeed fallen for you.I love you.Do you feel the same?
And he dozed off late in the night with her thoughts.
Next morning,he went to the office.
He was very happy.Mihir noticed it
M-Bhai...you seem very happy today,Anything special?
R-Nothing much,simply.
He was actually waiting for Ishita to come .
But that day she didn't come.He messaged her.
Hi
All well?
Ishita saw the message and didn't reply to it.
This went on for 3 days,he messaged her and she wouldn't reply.
Ishita thought to herself.
I-I am sorry Raman,I am not in position to talk to you.What I feared happened and I don't know why I couldn't resist you.
I know it happened in the heat of the moment.But I don't want to break my friendship and the professional comfort we share by this.
When Raman reached his home that day,he was in for another shock as he learnt that his parents had fixed his match with one of his father's very close friend's daughter.
His heart broke hearing this.
He decided that it was now or never and went to Ishita's house.
He came.Ishita's mother opened the door.
Am-Raman beta,please come.
R-Namaste aunty,how are you?
Am-I am good beta,you?
R-I am good...umm...Ishita...actually I wanted to take some files from her.
Am-No problem.Shes in her room.
Come I will take you there.
And she took him there.
Am-I have some work...
R-Ok auntyji
As Raman went,amma came to the kitchen where appa asked her
Ap-Does Ishu know?
Am-No,but I think Bhallaji has told Raman.
Vishwa,Raman is the best person for Ishu.So well mannered and polite.
Ap-Yes, he is perfect for.Their jodi looks lovely together.
While Raman had gone to her room.
He knocked on the door.
I-Amma,I told na I don't want to meet anyone.
He came in
R-What if it's me?
I-Ramanji
He bolted the door from inside making Ishita shudder and shiver.
R-When did we get so formal again now Ishita?
She got up and was about to the bathroom when he pulled at her wrist and pinned her to the cupboard.
R-Why are you ignoring me from the past 3 days?
Do you think you can hide away and I will not care about it.
Ishita's eyes were not meeting his.
R-Come on now.Out with it.What is that you are ignoring me for?
She just stayed silent.
R-If its for what I am thinking.Then it's of no use.I don't regret it at all and I know you also don't.
Ishita said something for the first time after a long time
I-It meant nothing to me.It just happened in the heat of the moment.
He gripped her arms strongly.
I-Leave me,it's hurting...
R-And what about the words you just said.It hurt me.
You are saying that whatever happened was just like that.It didn't meet anything to you.
For your information,I am not any cheap kind of person who just goes about kissing any random girl.
You very well know that we share something much more than friendship.
I-I know you are not like that but there is and was nothing of any sorts between us.
R-I love you Ishita.I don't know ho and when I fell for you but yes I love you.
I-But I don't.I am sorry but I don't like you.
But Raman wouldn't leave her easily.He had seen the same feeling for him in her eyes.
R-Really now,then look at me in my eyes and tell me.
As he lifted her chin and made her look into his eyes.
His proximity was affecting her badly.Her only thoughts was to hug him tight but something stopped her.
I-Raman please don't make it difficult.I don't like you.
R-But your actions say the opposite,infact you are liking my touch,if it was as you are saying you would push me.
And then their eyes met leading to an intense eyelock.
Raman had to do something as she was still not opening up.
R-Fine,I thought you would atleast say something but no...
Anyways my parents have already decided a match for me.
I always wanted to marry my love but she rejected me.
I would have anyhow made my parents agree for you,but I was wrong.
R-Fine then,Byee
These words of his instilled a sense of fear in her,the fear of losing him to someone else.
A fear of loosing her love.
She immediately hugged him.
I-No Raman,please don't go.
I cannot think of living without you.I love you.
Raman smiled and hugged her tightly.
They stayed in this position for sometime and then pulled apart.
R-Why were you so adamant and on denial before?
I-Before I joined your company,it was my dream to work with you.
I never knew I would gel with you so soon and ultimately start loving you.
But then something happened which made me speak what I said today...
