After Priyanka Chopra, THIS Bollywood Star Is Making Her International

Priyanka Chopra is making waves internationally with her ABC show Quantico, but there's another Bollywood actress who's just been roped in for a major international TV series. Preeti Desai, who has starred in Bollywood films like Shor In The City and One By Two, has been signed on in a lead role for the upcoming HBO series Gods and Secrets. It's an action drama that "explores the darker ramifications of a world filled with superheroes."

The project is directed by Adi Shankar, who has been called the Quentin Tarantino of the digital age. You will also know him for presenting the international release of Gangs of Wasseypur.

Adi Shankar says:

I flew to India and screen tested several top Bollywood actors, I was unimpressed and was about to change the ethnicity of the role until Preeti Desai walked into the casting office.

Preeti will be starring alongside some huge names like Denise Richards, Jane Seymour, Twilightheartthrobs Kellan Lutz & Jackson Rathbone, andBreaking Bad alumni RJ Mitte.
