The story is unique and it's something that even my mom got no problem with. She used to scold me for watching the saas-bahu drama but now she sits beside during 6PM to watch this.
1. FIrst of all, the story line and genre are different and out of the box; the idea of re-incarnation have been exhibited in serials before but that was always to save the show but in here, the story was made to tell the story of re-incarnation.
2. The characters are well-portrayed. Well, there are moments when I feel they could have done better but otherwise, they are perfectly played.
3. The whole idea of a love-triangle where the third person (Anaita/Anushka) sees her competition (Ria/Udita) as the threat or the bad guy while till expressing no despise or disappointment again the guy she loves (Karan/Kabir) is completely realistic. This is exactly what happens when you are obsessed with a guy, you see no flaw whatsever.
4. They do not drag. Thank god. When they saw the part where Ria and K split, I was bracing for a long and boring drag of Ria proving herself innocent. But nope, in the next episode, Trumpet and Jiggs confronts K and we have a final confrontation and punch-lines worth millions of applause from Ria. You know, in our saas-bahu serial, this doesn't happen, nobody have a brain of their own except for the bad guys. Here, everyone is logical.
5. THE VILLAIN IS MAJESTIC! He gives of a spooky aura and is not satisfied with anything less than perfect. He got the style, money and influence.
6. Ria and her ever-living affection for others. How sweet she is reminds me of to what extend a friend could go to keep her BFFE happy. But she did stand up for herself and that was more than enough. It was quite simple, no matter how nice a person is once the limit is crossed, they will react..
7. The fact that no matter how much they fought and how much they hate each other, they always save and protect each other, and bring a smile to each others'face.
8. The songs. No words to explain it.
9. The terrorist track. Well, it's one of the reason why the show started off roughly because nobody is interested in that but it brings in so much suspense now that it's too good yaar!
10. The side-effects of their past life on the characters. I don't know if that is realistic because I don't anyone who is punarjanm. But, Ria's guilt and nightmares because she killed Kabir as Udita even though she didn't want to, Anaita fear of heights because Anushka fell off the cliff and died, and Karan's birthmark at the spot where Kabir was shot, which reminds him betrayal.
I have more but too lazy. I think there are good enough anyway!!
