I know this is not related to this forum at all. But this news has struck my heart so deep that i want people to know and pray for this lone survivor of Siachen Avalanche.

For those who dont know , there was avalanche last week which killed 9 of our army soldiers in siachen. A miracle happened and truly a divine intervention that a soldier named Lance Naik Hanamanthappa Koppad buried under 25 feet of ice for 6 days managed to hold on to life.👏

My prayers with him ,he is in critical condition. Please spare a moment to pray for him so that he recovers soon.

As whole nation mourns today ,paying respect to that lone fighter who could not survive this battle of life.My prayers with his family and May his soul rest in peace.

We lost a brave son along with other 9 brave martyr. I hope we are able to do justice to their sacrifice.

I hope the person who survived is rescued n he can get back to his family safe n sound...

Thanks for the post, Riti. May Hanumanthappa's life be saved and he return to normal life with minimum possible injuries.

Thanks Anu I edited. I was kind of numb to do that earlier.

Regarding this being global,I would send request .It is totally up to global mods to take decision.

I hope people shall never forget what these soldiers undergo to make us safe and secure
