As mentioned in the article, they worked it out. About abuse part Ranbir admitted in one interview too.

ranbir can go both ways for all i care. as long as his character is like neetu i will love him. according to sonam (she said that in her recent chat on rediff.com) ranbir has the strictest morals...neetu keeps saying he is nice and peace-loving...he even looks so calm and down to earth...i hope he is more like a neetu singh than a rishi kapoor!! after having witnessed his mom's plight, i don't see him going the kapoor way at all...

interesting...i thought it was all from rishi's side...and juhi was just infatuated with him...oh well...but why rishi kapoor?? he had a pot belly!! lol!!

they are all bloody rumours!! i am 100% positive that rishi didn't have an affair, as in kwk karan actually asked did u ever have an affair, not mentioning even media links up wid sumone, and neetu said that rishi is an open book, and if he wud an affair he wud have it openly! secondly him beating neetu no one hid inside their bedroom to see what happened! its has been written that the prob was alcohol, and rishi use to get very aggressive, but he was never brutal! neetu was mostly concerned about his health!

How are you so sure? I have always maintained that all this is gossiping😛. I am not 100% sure of anything happening in their private lives. All of us rely on journos. So take it or leave it.
