I don't really know why kapoors hated DP, but it was for better that she went through that. It made her stronger as a person and as an actor.

Plus she has found gem in Ranveer and his family. I think DP and Ranveer had similar humble upbringing, that's why they probably get along and relate better to each other. And it's not only DP who is lucky that she found Ranveer, Ranveer also seems head over heals for her. There must be something in her that he loves her like this.

Maybe the Kapoors thought that she would not make it big?😆 I mean they surely changed their tunes when success came to Deepika's door. or perhaps it is the classic case of hating anyone who dares come close to my son😆
