Thank you for all your support. I really appreciate all you comments and also trying out my tuts.
Your requests and comments are what keeps me going and motivated.

I would like to share some mind blowing siggies shared after my last tut. They are absolutely gorgeous. Do have a look if you havent already.

Now as promised here i am with the new tutorial. Trust me its really easy but requires a lot of patience when you are blending.

How to blend in black?

[Original pictures : Fawad and Sonam]

Step One : I have taken two separate pictures of the duo and blending it using my previous tutorial. Then merged both the pictures pressing control/command + E. *You can keep them editable by selecting both the layers > right click > convert to smart object.

*This step will also help you in future. A very important thing to do is to keep all your layers editable since you have limited undos.

Step Two : Open a new layer in between your background and picture layer and fill it with black.

Step Three : Select the picture layer and then select ADD LAYER MASK TOOL. (Again we are doing this because you might want to keep the layer editable. Simple eraser tool like what we did our previous tut wont give us the flexibility). The best thing about this tool is you can erase and later you can get the entire thing back back by deleting the layer mask portion. Say later you think that you have erase too much and want to get back some parts of it. just select paint brush and paint that area you will get it back. Always make sure you foreground colour is white and background colour is black in the boxes.)

Step Four : Select a soft brush. Start erasing the hair part first to that it looks merged. Dont remove the entire hair area thought maybe 40-50% of it. Make sure you have selected a dia of 110 pixel or more. (1) This gives you a better blending.
Then select smaller dia to erase the small gaps. Check out the area marked as (2).

Step Five : Select level button and feed in the parameters as per the diagram. Note that this will change as per your desired result.

Step Six : Add text as per your choice and you are done. I have selected a hard brush and put two dots to make the text look fancy.
