Chitrangada knocks on Ranveer's door
The actress wants the Bajirao Mastani star to feature in her maiden venture
Chitrangada Singh has approached Ranveer Singh to play the lead in her debut production, which is a biopic on Indian hockey player DSP Sandeep Singh.
SpotboyE has it that the Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi actress has sounded Ranveer off and the actor has shown interest in the film. However, he is yet to give a formal consent.
What's interesting is that Sandeep Singh had earlier expressed the desire to see Ranbir Kapoor step into his shoes. But RK Jr has made it clear that he won't be a part of any biopic besides the one on Sanjay Dutt, which will be directed by Rajkumar Hirani (Ranbir says NO to Dhyan Chand biopic, January 13).
Ranveer has already tasted success with Bajirao Mastani where he brought the journey of Peshwa Bajirao on the big screen. Now, it remains to be seen whether he will bite the bait again.
