Here's all you wanted to know about Aishwarya's birthday bash at Jalsa

MUMBAI: Aishwarya surely is one lucky gal. While she spent the eve of her birthday by the beautiful Taj Mahal with Abhishek, Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, her birthday bash on Thursday night was nothing short of a cracker.

The buzz is Abhishek and Shweta detailed every little aspect at the party, making sure that Ash's first birthday bash at Jalsa would be something worth remembering.

According to sources, the party started late, post 11 pm and continued till three in the morning. Almost all of Ash's family and close pals were present there to wish the birthday girl. Amongst them were Anil and Tina Ambani, Sachin Tendulkar with wife Anjali, Kajol, Sonali Bendre and Goldie Bhel, Pralhad Kakkar and Neeta Lulla.

"There were surely over a hundred people at Jalsa on Thursday night; it was quite a grand affair," says a source.

But the surprise element came around 1.30 pm. Ash and Abhishek broke into a "very sexy" salsa dance number which turned out to be the highlight of the evening. We guess that the dance number might have been choreographed by the 'salsa master' Sandip Soparrkar. Apparently the couple practiced the number for two days for the special occasion.

Aishwarya, who was initially wearing a saree, changed into a sea blue dress designed by Neeta Lulla for the dance while Abhishek slipped into a black suit. The dance, it is said, was Abhishek's birthday gift for Aishwarya.
